Wolverine VS. Sentinel clip

I haven't seen anyone from the 'Clip liking' camp saying the 'Clip disliking' camp had low standards.

I think Darren Darring was most likely responding to the fact that there are people on both sides who imply that other's opinions are wrong . . . I've seen plenty of people say "This movie will be awesome no matter what any one says." . . . which is no more valid than someone saying, "This movie is going to suck no matter what any one says." There are equal amounts of both kinds of people on either side of the argument.

only problem I see with Colossus' FX is: the CG hasn't been lit properly. I don't see any inner shading or anything in those cuts. Add some shadow, some sense of depth, he looks fine.

Halle's line's were definitely delivered flatly.

This scene isn't shown in its entirety: feel that jump between "don't get your panties in a bunch" and that spin move? He says something but it's cut.

Also, there is another cut it seems after we see Wolvie fly and push in behind them.

I dunno, all in all it seems fine, just a little out of context and maybe a little flat, with that placeholder music and all. But it's not much unlike that clip of "he rattled his cage" that we got from Batman Begins before that one hit.

We have one month to find out if this is a stinker or not.

this cut down clip -- does the full version show wolverine actually fighting the sentinel and are there more than one of these guys? Just would like to see wolverine climb up a sentinel and then cut its head off. Kind of a fanboy dream. A thank you.

I'm not blaming the actors. I haven't said who I think is to blame yet. I'd be more inclined to blame the directing and the editing... though the actors can't escape all the blame.

Sigh....I think we all noticed that....its just that we all know this won't be the case in the film.

The Sentinel one is based on a 50-second clip, so it doesn't hold any water until the movie is released. And as for the Colossus effects, I agree, but full-body CGI always has and currently still does look fake, that's not anyone's fault. And I won't even touch the whole "faithful character adaptation" can of worms.

The way the sentinel was introduced was pretty poorly done. Some obscure lights moving towards them? Talk about an anti-climactic reveal. I don't know if that was supposed to build up suspense or something, but it just came off as... cheap.

And full body CGI can be done fine. I won't even point out Gollum or Kong. The T-1000 looked and moved better than Collossus, and that was more than ten years ago!
