Thanks X-periment! Now I'll tell you a little secret I used a Power Ranger Robot head for the head of the Sentinel! See, it doesn't look so bad and I have a feeling the body of the Sentinel will be more visually wow than the head cause obviously that's the core of the Sentinel!

I'm getting really tired of hearing the "it's the DR therefore they can get away with excuse" tbh, it's sounding more and more apologetic. I agree the DR is a simulation/not real but I'd expect a holographic robot to look more modern/technologically advanced than the Sentinel we actually got in that clip.

I can't imagine that this head is supposed to be impressive.

It looks like a toy, for the moment.

My post was in response to posters who are trying to make up an excuse to counter the "CGI was not good in this clip" posts. It's more than likely unfinished SF/X. That's good enough a response for me. But to go on and say that this is the Danger room and the effects can look half baked and the Sentinel, Colossus could look like crap because afterall, this is the Danger Room, is just not needed.

I've said this a bunch of times: I'm all for defending X-men 3 but people have to stop taking it upon themselves to make up excuses just to do so.

I agree with you 100%!! As an unfinished clip it was fine, it did it's job, it hyped up what could be a great scene in the movie, when fully finished! I hate that "it's the DR" excuse though!!

I knew right away that the clip was from the danger room. of course. duh. How can it be the final battle? I didn't see beast in the clip... -checks again- no.. but check this out anyway...

yeah... I see Storm, Colossus, Rogue (she looks damn hot), Bobby, Kitty and Logan. Beast is with the president...so he's obviously not present in the DR room... who knows. I could be wrong...but judging by this shot. there's only 6 of them present.

I didint think Colossus looked that bad. The Fastball Special was my biggest gripe. It looked way to fake, but the whole clip was sweet.

As long as the DR scene comes out smooth and touched up (as well as being REALLY destructive ), I'll be one happy ****er. And hey, at least we're getting a Sentinel!
