I don't know how I feel about that picture.

I prefer his shorter cuts in the newer movies, but I will agree with what someone else said about him not aesthetically being the best choice for Wolverine as a character.

He does his best though and since he's become the face of the Wolverine over the years, he has grown better into the part. (I think, anyway)

I think DOFP nailed it.

for both the past and future scenes.

Of course, the bar scene on X1 is memorable. HE WAS the Wolverine (specially since Bryan shot the movie in specific angles to make Hugh look shorter, altho they didnt care about that on the rest of the movies.)

I only like it on The Wolverine when he is facing in front of the camera. On other angles, it looks damn short.

The one I´ve disliked more I believe, is on X-Men: Origins Wolverine. He looks like he just came out from a hair saloon or something. Not Wolverine-ish at all.
