Yes. Trevor and Candy appear, as well as Lord and Cheetah. They don't go into deep detail about the Amazons, nor do they pay attention to the gods.
This sounds awful so far. How do they explain her powers then?

the outfit story was fun I thought. They had some sleazy PR guy try and get her to wear it, she turns it down and leaves the room and the PR guy tried to get in Etta Candy's pants and kind of rapes her. pretty dark.
But basically WW avenges Etta Candy in what she thinks is the most perfect way by scaring crap out of PR guy IN the outfit he proposed she wear. She kind of wears it like a Scarlet Letter. interesting, i thought.
I'd like to not include any type of raping of female characters. Is there no other way to do 'dark' with female characters besides sexual assault? Gross.

Does Wonder Woman kill? Or is she treated as an "angry" hero?
Basically that Themiscyra was an island contaminated with bacteria from the Kryptonian scout ship that landed when Superman arrived.
That scene almost sounds like something from a bad Catwoman script. Doesn't sound much like something that belongs in a Wonder Woman film to me...
This is a joke, right?
Well, that idea i kinda like, that's pretty close to her golden age storiesShe doesn't, which I think is the saving grace of the film. She sort of forces the villains to turn on themselves, which is what made the whole thing dynamic.
Ugh. Probably written by someone who could care less about the character. Rape is dark and scary. Just include that! Yeah, great idea! Ugh. No. Just stop.
Someone get me a good script writer and we can work together to make a good WW story. God.
Wonder Woman and the amazons should be independent and not have to have kryptonian bacteria(WTF) to give them powers. This script is awful. Burn it.
I'm going to have to disagree with everyone, mainly because I'm paid to
But also because I've read a lot of scripts, and this one is good. It uses metahumanism as a metaphor for feminism and pulls it off. The rape punctuates the whole thing well and I found myself rooting for Diana pretty quickly.
It has to tie in to krypton for a Justice league movie to work, which is what WB wants. You have to consider that there's a lot to cater to with these things. Whilst i agree that WW's gods are great, you can't have those kind of things in a world as realistic as the one from MOS.

How does the first act end? Or is that too specific a question?
The world in MOS was not realistic. Can you give us any reason for us to believe you?
Well, I would hope you wouldn't route for the rapist....
I appreciate you going out of your way and telling us all this stuff, but it is not a good story. Not a good Wonder Woman story, at least. As someone who basically....studies this character... This story really bothers me. A lot.
Yes you can. It's a movie for heavens sake. Following a movie about an alien from another planet who has super powers.
There shouldn't have to be any bacteria connections to make WW work. The gods can work just as well. It's other worldly, just like the Kryptonians are.
While I appreciate the concern behind your point, a Wonder Woman story without the Greek mythology imagery seems very strange... like having a Batman who has nothing to do with bats.
