Her line delivery seems to be fine. And after that WW solo "teaser" that has shown her nonverbal performance, I don't think I have any worries left regarding Gadot.

Yaaaaaaaas gurl. :atp:

did she have an accent at all? I couldnt tell

It sounded European. Not exactly British, but definitely not her normal Israeli accent.

I heard a slight accent. Imo she sounded great. Wouldn't mind if they emphasised the accent a bit more, but it was one sentence.

Loving everything I see and hear from Gadot as Wonder Woman!

So I know a lot of people were worried about her becoming jaded in her own film based on comments from Gadot, suggesting that film might be a bit of a downer, but here's how I'm seeing it more likely to play out - in the WW film, she's venturing in to Man's World for the first time, culminating at the end with her decision to stay in it, because she sees their potential for good. In BvS, she's been here through multiple wars and has long-since retired her WW persona (which has faded into myth since it was back in the days before everyone had cameras and pre-internet and all that) because she's been somewhat jaded and feels like fighting for humanity would be futile until they learn to fight for themselves. And then Bats and Supes show up and events of this film inspire her to suit back up. So I think BvS will, in a way, be the payoff of a belief in mankind that's planted at the end of her solo movie. It just takes a while for her faith to be rewarded, lol.

Gadot's voice sounded more European than anything else. It sounded sophisticated, not that her normal accent doesn't :)

lol

You could tell he did not want to get into it cause he ain't ready to admit.

Yeah, he glossed over it without wanting to dwell on her part. Also... Welcome back. Some of us were worried we wouldn't get your take on all this, though I guess you got a real life to handle offline. :woot:

By the way, am I seeing things or is there a hole in the bottom of the shield? Like the frontal metal ring isn't in place anymore.

Anyone else think the underwater scene may have to do with Aquaman?

Don't think so, didn't look like an open sea to me.

Ah, you're right. I forgot that there's a ring in the inner side as well. Thanks for solving this one for me, it was puzzling me.

Because it goes against the idyllic society that is untainted by modern technology to have cutting edge stealth jet. I wouldn't mind it if they introduce it as something Diana obtains down the line in Men's world,

I always thought a good compromise would be that Diana's Island is hidden from the world by some magical cloaking effect, one that renders it invisible. When Steve gets there by accident, it is HIS plane which becomes invisible by having been affected by the island's protective magic or by having it placed upon it later, when it is used to go back to Mans World.

I like that idea. Of course, problem with this WW film is that this would be Steve's plane:
