You know everyone did say it was awful, and I agreed with them but I re-read the first volume and while it is laughable it's better than alot of Batman stories that I've read. It's best when taken as an Elseworlds tale.

I love All-star cause I don't take it seriously. It would be like watching Crank and expecting citizen kane. It is enjoyable fun that puts a smile to my face. Though the series seems like it is going to make a turn into the dramatic.

I liked all-star too. I just enjoyed it for what it was, and it had amazing artwork.

Same here. Terrible art, story, and even price! I'm suprised I even finished it. I even hate seeing it in my collection.

I am someone who @ 325 bat-comics/trades has probably more books than most any hypester, especially those who are into some new trendy bat-movie than they are the books...

Last Laugh was good... I'm sticking by it... Not my fav. mind you, not the best Batman has to offer, but @ least I enjoyed it!



aLL sTaR, was really bad in terms of traditional Batman books... yes, it offered a new take, but it's weak... Not something some newbie should get into as the intro. to Batman type of thing! It's no Batman: year one

Batman made like 3 appearances.... It was more of a JL book or a Rogues gallery book!

For me it was War Games and the last pages of War Crimes that made want to go out and murder a whole kindergartner class. First time I thought the soul was sucked out of the Batman comics.

I have a lot more comics than I do trades... yes, I only have 35 trades... 30 of which are Batman & every single issue I have is Batman...

BUT AS I SAID, I don't collect single issues anymore... TOO EXPENSIVE and you should never assume anything about someone over the internet!

Ya you could be a good collector and still have bad taste in comics. A movie collector could have a thousand movies but they could all be Pauly Shore movies (not that there are a thousand Pauly Shore movies)
