JGL as Joker, just cause he looks like Heath. this argument is usually made by people who wanna act like Heath being dead is no big deal and the role should continue, yet they wanna cast someone based solely on the fact that he looks just like heath and could probly do a good impression. I f were gonna move on , then lets really move on.


The idea of the riddler as a rogue federal agent . cute but no. Riddler with a government badge, turns me off in so many ways, no matter how intriguing the plot you build around it.


The use of Dark Knight Returns as a possible title. you are all aware there is a seminal graphic novel with the exact same title, and that the plot of batman 3 will most likely share zero resemblance with it, correct?


Deadshot, Deathstroke, Bane. or any other generic mercenary badass character being added.

As for the topic in hand: I hate people suggesting cloth batsuits. Or suggesting a manip which clearly has more pads on it but they are just nicer to look at, so they say "look, this batsuit is better than TDK's" when clearly a batsuit should have no pads. Not even one. Also, this:

Ideally id want riddler to be presented as merely inspired by the joker, much in the same way joker is presumably emboldened/inspired by batman in the field of wearing costumes and extreme, theatrical tactics. I mean realistically, one would assume some sort of connection between a master criminal called the joker, and one hot on his heels called the riddler. this can be done without making him a knockoff, he could be completely different in appearance(neat, fastidious) methods(not so big on mass murder) aand goal( personal gain, fame, and recognition as opposed to general terror and anarchy), but still make his own large impact on Gotham's psyche and criminal underworld, as well as say something in the overall arc. maybe image and selflessness could be the overall themes of the film, which could work well considering the position batman has put himself in.
