Would a Han Solo prequel work?

I think the Young Jedi Knights would make a far better TV show, featuring his children Jacen, Jaina, and Anakin.

No. He is a great character but without hte balance of Luke Skywalker the intended character doesn't work (a scoundrel yes, but unlike say Mal Renyolds or the Man from Laramie, Lucas never wanted him to be the main character).

The sad thing is, I could actually see him trying to do one of these.

i actually liked the Indy Jones series.

but its true that Ford is irreplacable as Indy. anda Han Solo prequel just isnt a good idea. not knowing too much about him is what made the Cantina scene work as well as it did (minus Greedo shooting first).
