A few fat chics will go see PS I Love You and although Charlie Wilson's War will be good and Oscar Worthy, it will only cater to older people. Fanboys are abuzz about Sweeney Todd and it is getting rave reviews, National Treasure is a sequel to the sleeper hit from Disney a couple of years back and everyone will flock to see a comedy from the genius mind of Judd Apatow.

I still stand with my guess

Walk Hard looks hilarious. Apatow is the new king of comedy.
Charlie Wilson. I dunno, it looks oscar-worthy, but with Hanks and Roberts, that was a given. Looks a little boring, so of course its perfect for the oscars.

Yep, I'm definitely looking forward to "Book of Secrets". It looks to be at least twice the fun of the original film, so hopefully Disney, Cage, and Co. will deliver. I'm glad to see all the supporting players back (Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Harvey Keitel, and Jon Voight), plus Helen Mirren will probably have some memorable scenes as well. It'll be an exciting ride, that's for sure.

NT2 will probably do better than CWW,just for the type of movie it is. NT2 is that dumb sappy somewhat entertaining adventurious type movie,and those seem to do decently.

Hey, at least "PS..." has Gerard Butler, Gina Gershon, James Marsters and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. I'd be tempted to go if it wasnt such a chick flick. National Treasure looks like crap.

Just because you think it looks bad doesn't mean it will bomb. There is no way PS will make more than National Treasure.

Maybe. They underestimated both I Am Legend and Alvin and the Chipmunks last weekend, it's always possible they underestimate this as well

Either it will be I Am Legend or National Treasure: Book of Secrets for #1 and #2, for sure. Walk Hard and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street are another toss up for #3 and #4. Charlie Wilson's War may very well be #5. I feel that P.S. I Love You won't make the top 5.

Agreed. People under-estimated National Treasure, but thats a PG film and will most likely bring in families. Walk Hard will bring in fans of dumb comedies. And Sweeney Todd may be a surprise hit or it'll be #3 or 4. As for Charlies Wilson's War...the fall season pretty much told us that audiences don't care for these political movies.
