No not at all. All who pass should be honored but whether it be because of favortism or popularity of the person by the Oscars one was left off & the other made it for whatever reason.

Well Dicaprio may have but he had the nomination for Blood Diamond. Departed may have won him the award.

I agree. I felt he should have been nominated for Best Actor for his work on The Departed.

I didn't think so. But then again he just blew me away in The Departed. I just didn't think he had that in him. I just enjoyed that performance more i guess, considering i prefer The Departed over Blood Diamond.

Departed was just a c**k measurement battle between a bunch of Hollywood heavyweights... he really didn't stand out that much in that film... not that he was bad... but it wasn't a role we hadn't seen before.

The accent wasn't that terrible... South Africans sound funny... its a mix of Australian and some transylvanian sh:t....

Just saw No Country for Old Men and it was great. The ending was abrupt but I didn't mind it. Good film overall and I can see why it won best picture.

Yeah ok...some girl is on a mechanical bull and they impose a polar bear in, which wasn't nearly as groundbreaking as to what ILM had to do for Transformers.

I feel that was typical Hollywood politics on that one.

wow a talking polar bear, how great, Holy S**t, A giant Robot, that's awesome. Which one looks more realistic a freakin giant robot that's what. Gimme a break, with the stupid bears but I did hear good things about the polar bear fight.

I love Conan but he wouldnt have done well at all at the Oscars. There way too staunch and his wacky style might not click (Well I KNOW it wouldnt click. smh@ him trying to do the thong dance, while Dame Helen Mirren would look at him all ). Stewart was simply brilliant because he can switch gears for audiences. He definetly did a good job.
