The NFL on CBS guys were talking about the QB Class of 2004 earlier and that reminded me a bit of the crop of OVW talent that arrived to the main roster in 2002 with Cena, Orton, Lesnar and Batista. In 2017 it'll be 15 years since those guys debuted on the main roster and all four are destined for the WWE Hall of Fame.
Shelton Benjamin also debuted that year but he hasn't returned to the WWE, although he was going to. While he had his share of success in the WWE, he was never a World Champion, which makes him a failure of the group when compared to four future WWE Hall of Famers. He did say a few weeks ago that he was coming back to the WWE when he's healthy again. Maybe this next go around will be better for him. A small run as World Champion would be good.
Then there's Victoria. She had a nice run in the WWE before leaving in 2009. I don't really know what the relationship is between her and the WWE now but I would not be at all surprised if she's one of the women in the upcoming Women's Tournament that the WWE has planned if things are good between her and WWE. She's still competing in the Indies.
