write the scenes YOU'D want to see in TDK!

OK maybe this isnt a spoiler thread in the strictest sense of the word, but this is the same concept as the caption threads, just without pics to go with. though it's almost a given that the script for TDK is finished, i thought it'd be fun anyway to write some scenes that we think would be awesome for the film. to make it more interesting, before you post your scene, rate the one above it.

OK i'll start. This is my "pre-intro" to Harvey Dent in TDK. I posted it in another thread but decided to carry it over after i got the idea for this one.

the idea that Bruce and Harvey were friends at Princeton actually opens up a lot of character-oriented subplots that Nolan & Crew could work with. I remember having an idea where Bruce and Harvey were at a party (Harvey's birthday party, I think) and Bruce gave Harvey the two-headed coin as a birthday present. But now that i think about it, what if a subplot is (now that Rachel is DA) Bruce recommends Harvey for the job of Assistant DA? Here's an idea for a scene (pay attention Nolan!)

Rachel sits at a large oak desk COMPLETELY COVERED BY PAPERS, some stained with light brown rings from her coffee mug. Her hair falls in whispy bangs over her intense eyes as she furrows her brow. She swipes the bangs out of her eyes with her free hand while the other holds her cell phone to her ear. Rachel massages her forehead and SIGHS HEAVILY as she rests her back against her leather office chair.

(frustrated)
I just can't make up my mind, Bruce. Everyone's good, but I just can't come to a solid decision. I need someone focused, intense, and NOT easily coerced by anything. And with this psychotic "Joker" out there, I'll be lucky if--

BRUCE (O.C.)
(thoughtfully)
Rachel, calm down. I think I might have someone in mind...

something along those lines.

I want Bats to think The Joker is just some loony with make-up on, and near the end of the movie, he has him and goes like "Let's get this make-up off". And then... well you know (no, they dont have hot passionate male love).

I want to see Batman use his wealth and resources to hunt down and beat-up every Noob who posts on these boards.

I'd like to see something along the lines of The Prestige, where they show a scene from the end in the beginning, and then the movie rolls on and we finally get to that scene. Here's my idea:

Film starts with Rachel's murder. We don't see who it is, we just see him place something on the ground. Camera zooms in on a Joker card, flash of white, The Dark Knight comes across the screen, and we begin the film in real time. Then later, we return to Rachel's murder scene and the audience realizes whats coming. Then we see the Joker card be placed on the ground, and the camera pans up, shocking us by showing Harvey Dent as the murderer. If Nolan is able to build up Harvey as an amazing guy, this can come off as a great shock! So Harvey frames Joker, Joker goes on trial, Harvey gets acid-faced, and the film either ends with Gordon and Bats convo, or cliffhanger. **Note** Harvey could be Two-Face when he kills Rachel, and we just skip him getting acid in the face, but we can still have Joker's trial. Also, if it were to end in a cliffhanger, I'd love for Batman to be doing some research in Harvey's office, and then he whispers out loud "Joker didn't kill her." And then we hear a coin flip in the background and see a shadowy figure who then gently tosses the coin at Bats. He begins to walk out into the light and says "No, it was me!" Now we can either see his new face or it can be left a mystery, but his voice should definitely be different.

A comic book scene I'd like to see would be Batman destroying Joker after hunting him down (he just found out Joker killed Rachel). I want this scene to be exactly like HUSH where Bats pummels Joker while he says he didn't kill Tommy. This could work too cause Batman may feel guilty after he finds out Harvey killed Rachel, making it more personal.

Batman is upside down looking down at maroni's men from top view, maronis men have machine guns and their armed with heavy duty firearms, There's about 16 maronis men each and every one of them are wearing black suits. The lights goes out you hear screaming and yelling and gunfire and when maroni enters everyone is knocked out and the Batman is gone.

I always wondered who's idea it was to move wayne enterprises into the arms field?

I always had a theory that some underground mafia group, could be falcones,maronis, maybe even black masks group back when that rumor was going around, I would like to see them confront earle because of his losing a viable resource, and then possibly try and muscle bruce into hiring him back.

I liked the idea about bruce and harvey knowing each other, but I also liked how harvey tried to put wayne away in the long halloween, thats something I would like to see looked into also.
