Here is a little something I wrote based only on some images I've seen and a little of what I know of the plot. I used my screenwriting program to type it up, which is why it looks longer than it really is. Sadly, the dialogue blocks have become right justified, so forgive the lack of formatting.

FADE IN:

INT. GOTHAM BANK - DAY

People mill around in the lavishly decorated bank.

The door burst open and a handful of men wearing clown masks rush in.

The people SCREAM.

JOKER
(loud and commanding)
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the greatest show on earth!

The last of the robbers takes his mask off revealing a pale man with deep-set eyes. The JOKER.

JOKER
Stop me if you’ve heard this one: What do you call a man with a gun, who wants all the money in the bank?

The people in the bank only whimper and cry, looking terrified.

JOKER
The bank manager.

He looks around at his captors.

JOKER
(soft, angry)
That was a joke.

He begins to chuckle, softly and deeply at first, but soon his voice gets higher and higher until he beings to cackle manically.

FLASH CUT

EXT. GOTHAM POLICE STATION - NIGHT

Batman crouches on the roof.

Gordon approaches.

GORDON (VO)
He’s a lunatic, a nut. Calls himself The Joker.

BATMAN
Another psychopath using a pseudonym.

Gordon looks at him and smiles weakly.

GORDON
You’re one to talk.

FLASH CUT

INT. BATCAVE - NIGHT

Bruce Wayne sits at his computer, checking files and looking at crime scene photos.

JOKER (OS)
It seems I’ve caught you with your tights down.

He explodes into laughter.

Bruce spins to see empty space behind him. He shakes his head to clear it.

EXT. GOTHAM COURTHOUSE - DAY

Harvey Dent walks down the steps amid a throng of reporters. Police officers try and blockade the crowd.

REPORTER
Mister Dent, is there any truth to the rumor that there is someone who has taken over the Falcone organization?

DENT
Carmine Falcone is long gone and so are all of his lieutenants. Organized crime is dying in Gotham and I believe we have a certain individual to thank for that.

Suddenly, Batman falls from a light post with a noose around his neck, springing up and down. The crowd gasps and screams and flash bulbs pop.

Dent looks closely at the body.

DENT
(to crowd)
It’s only a dummy.
(to himself)
Someone’s idea of a sick joke.

FLASH CUT

INT. COURTHOUSE - DAY

The Joker and Batman square off, slowly circling each other.

BATMAN
You’ve killed innocent people.

JOKER
And I’ve only just started.

They lunge at each other.

EXT. GOTHAM STREETS - NIGHT

The Joker’s car weaves between traffic; his goons leaning out of the windows shoot at Batman as he races to keep up on his customized motorcycle.

INT. DENT’S OFFICE - NIGHT

Rachel Dawes sits with Harvey as he twirls a coin between his knuckles.

RACHEL
I just don’t think that Batman is as bad as this office makes him out to be. The people seem to be on his side.

Dent stares at his coin, turning it, studying each side.

DENT
There’s two sides to every coin.

FLASH CUT

INT. INTERROGATION ROOM - NIGHT

The Joker sits with his head down, and his hands behind his back.

BRUCE (VO)
I have to stop him, Alfred.

ALFRED (VO)
Of course you do, Sir.

BRUCE (VO)
I will stop him.

ALFRED (VO)
Of course you will, Sir.

The Joker raises his head, a horrible grin on his face and his makeup spattered away from sweat and blood.

RACHEL (VO)
(screaming)
Bruce! Nooo!

The Joker’s smile, toothy as it is, grows even wider as Rachel’s scream fades into his horrible, sick laughing.

FADE TO BLACK

The Batman logo appears as the laugher subsides to muted chuckling.

FADE OUT:

WB Logo
DC Logo
Legendary Logo
It starts out at Bruce's party. We see banners congratulating Harvey Dent on his victory into the D.A's office. Harvey starts to begin his victory when we hear the elevator come up to the floor. The door opens to reveal the joker and his goons.
Joker: Starting tonight, people will die. First up is Dent.
Chaos ensues as people start to run and scream. Cut to Bruce and Alfred talking in the Bat-Garage. And there they have the dialog from the teaser in front of the new bat-suit and the batpod. Cut to gordon in swat gear with the new reese character. They're riding through gotham having a discussion about crime. Cut to shots of rachel with dent, then to shots of maroni and his gang. Then for the final shot show the bat-signal and it getting smashed. (The audience won't know who smashed it, but everyone here does.) Then cut to the logo and coming soon text.
So thats my idea feel free to bash, compliment, and ignore.

That was really well done. If I have to point two things out though:

1 - The conversation between Gordon and Batman comes off as if he's telling Batman about Joker for the first time, when I already know that's not the case.

2 - Dent says the hanging Batman is only a dummy in your version. Pretty sure it's not going to be a dummy in the film, it's one of the fake Batmen. If you get a chance to see the photo of all the fake Batmen sitting with Cillian Murphy, you'll see that one of them has the costume, i.e. the baseball catchers chest protector as the hanging Batman from the Chicago pic.

they should have really done a dent for mayor promo and right at the end the joker hacks into it... ect ect....like the one that was rumoured.

that would have owned.

If you have nothing constructive to add to this thread, stay out.

I hope they use a shot of the Joker using an assault rifle on innocent bystanders. Seriously that will be the one shot to use in order to prove this isn't Jack Nicholson's Joker.

well it was confirmed December will be a joker heavy trailer so, maybe the whole video camera scene is in the works.

You know the Wizard world footage? I would be completely okay if that was released as the Theatrical Trailer.

anywho, this will probably be moved to the non-spoiler section soon.
Dream on! Believe me, I do too. But we're not gonna get as much footage in the next trailer, as was shown at WizardWorld. The footage at wizard's was a 5 minute montage of raw footage... We'll be lucky if we get just one minute of footage in the next trailer.
