I mean Superman now remembers fighting in the first Crisis!!!:cmad::cmad::cmad: Amazons are killing children with out mercy. Seriously what the hell; the only person that is not messed up so far is Batman. Superman's history is all screwed up, Wonder Woman's is the same way. They really need to start fixing this mess.

... I don't disagree. But for all we know, everyone remembers the first crisis now and all the amazons seems to be influenced by Circe. I'm fuggin pissed they are "evil" now. F-inf feminist beyotches

People remembering the first Crisis is nothing new...it was a little vague right after CoIE, but the general attitude in the last five or six years is that everyone remembers the first Crisis, though not the specific details during it regarding the multiverse.

Which is, yes, a little contradictory since the first Crisis was all about the multiverse. But that's the way it was.

ohh nooes! the amazons are acting like... like... amazons? ..

whats going on in DC right now is that they are ficksing ALOT! of mistakes..
Gail is taking over WW (VICTORY!)
The Flash has become readeble (Victory!)
The Amazons act like Amazons (Minor Victory!)
The silverage LOSH is kinda back (YAY!)
Connor Hakw has superpowers... kinda (WEIRD!)
Geo-Force smells like Mud (AWSOME!!!)
ect ect

The Amazons of the DCU do not murder harmless civilians. That's bullsht. Much less decapitating children. Have you read any depictions of the DCU Themyscirans before now? Hell, did you even read the issue??

Someone should say "Amazon Attacks SPOILERS" as a warning to those of us who aren't reading these things right off the press every Tuesday or Wednesday! :cmad:

ive read alot of WW stuff. i know the DCU amazons dont kill and stuff.. but the real amazons of legend did..

LONG LIVE REALITY!

"real amazons of legend"

Boy that's a contradictory statement.

Yeh, Brian Willy is right, everyone always remembered fighting in the first Crisis.

I like the fact that superman was superboy and he was in LOSH. Read the johns interview in Wizard, he explains it best about the myth of a flying boy with a S on his chest in smallville.

i like alot of the talent DC has right now and i like alot of the stories being told, though some i hate... but in 20 years from now, someone who grew up with and loved the pre-IC continuity is going to come along and ******* everything didio, johns & co have done, just like they are doing now with their silver age redeux... i cant wait

Yeah, so stop your b***hing, you'll get your due in.....20 years or so.

How is Superman's history messed up?

Krypton blows up, rocket ship, lands in Kansas. Has that changed?

I'm no DC apologist, I think thats obvious but you need to calm the fook down and not over blow every goddamn detail.

Amazons Attack has to have an explanation behind it, because frankly, I have faith that DC wouldn't be this stupid to let that go on without some sort of deus ex machina showing up. Ares, God of War involved perhaps, something, because I can buy most of what happened in Amazons Attack but them killing a child is a line that DC needs to jump back over. DC has been getting away with a lot of this **** lately, and I honestly can't blame the Women in Refrigerators groups for being pissed, so I just hope to God that DC has something planned for this.

Hey remember the good old days when Preus raped a woman to death? That was awesome

I wish you would stop looking for beauty in things that want to kill us. DC Amazons are now evil monsters, its that simple for now.

See, thats where idiotic posts like this always gets me in a "tizzy". In real life and in comics, ITS NEVER THAT SIMPLE.

And who is us? Amazons don't exist in my plane of existence.

And please, don't turn this into some pointless political debate.

Poltical debate, what are you talking about kid?

Amazons have gone nuts, thats all their is for now, until or if they tell us whats really going on.

Thanks Captain Obvious. But these messageboards are for discussing, so looking for a motive behind their actions is acceptable and encouraged. If you don't like it, log out. And again, nothing is ever that simple. Get to learning that.

I'm sure if enough people get upset over the Amazons' behavior in Amazons Attack, they'll cobble together some ******ed, undoable reasoning for it, whether one was originally intended or not. We've seen it happen all over DC's recent comics.

or maybe no one will care and the "problem" will never be addressed.

I always find it funny when people say that Superboy's death meant something. When:

1) We know Nightwing was the one that was supposed to die.

2) He was killed off for purely legal reasons.

What *****ing can do for a story.

Yeah, that was one of the lame ones. I was thinking specifically of the revelations that Deathstroke was drugging Cassandra and that Babs broke off the engagement so Dick could "find himself." Piss-poor solutions to the cluster**** that those characters received post-OYL, but at this stage, I'm just glad we got some kind of explanation for the ludicrous changes we saw in the characters.

I still don't understand how Cassandra allowed Deathstroke to get within 50 feet of her proximity.

Silly boy, he played on her daddy issues--that she would never be good enough to be Batman's true heir. Duh. And that totally worked, of course. I mean, it's not like Cass was completely over that crap and had resolved to give up the Batgirl identity, stop living in her father figures' shadows, and be her own woman at the conclusion of her series, right? No, of course not.
