Wwe'13!

This is a joke I invented

WWE 13 did not sells well in Syria, Egypt and Tunisia

Egyptians and Tunisians after reading the lives of the revolution said god dam it One revolution is enough for a life time we do not need more

and Syrians said one current revolution is enough dam it

ok, for those who have it now, in CAW, what cities are available to choose from when you pick Kansas as your homestate?

and, if you choose Kansas City, Kansas, does the announcer say Kansas City, Kansas or Kansas City Missouri?

In '12, that was an annoying glitch ( for me ) where Kansas City, KS was announced as Kansas City, MO.......

I'd be annoyed too, if I lived in KC. Lol just kidding, I had the shot so I took it. :D

lol.

well there is a Kansas City, KS and a Kansas City, MO. so if you lived in KS, as I do, you'd be pretty annoyed......lol

especially when Kansas doesn't have very many cities to choose from ( at least in past games ).

but I picked up the game today. so I'll find out for myself soon.

Anyone here bought it and played it yet? What do you guys think of it? IGN's review had a pretty high score but the review didn't really talk about any of the positives of the game. I'm still waiting for my Stone Cold edition to come in the mail. :csad:

I'm also wondering how many alternate attires they have for all the characters? Or do some only have one attire? That would kinda suck if so.

well, I spent some time with it last night, mainly tinkering around Create a Superstar and playing a few matches with my new CAW.

my initial impression, as someone who's played every Smackdown game since the beginning, is that WWE 13 is..........more of the same. It doesn't feel that much different from WWE 12, and it doesn't feel much different from the Smackdown vs Raw games from the prior years.

Now, it seems like you need to unlock a lot of the wrestlers ( especially the Attitude stars ). So, I'm guessing and hoping that unlocking more stars will unlock more CAW parts and moves. Because as it stands now, it feels like the same CAW parts we've had for the last several years.

As for the gameplay, it doesn't feel too different from WWE 12. some of the "issues" that I encountered in 12, like the weak/strong running strikes/grapples not working, seem to be fixed in 13.

so my initial impression is that it's not that much different from last years outing. It's more of the same. whether or not that's a good thing depends on your experience with the series.

and p.s. At least they got the Kansas City, KS part right!!!

So seeing as how I didn't really get to play WWE12, and my last SvR game was 2010, would I enjoy even more, just based on the improvements that were supposedly made between those 3-4 years?

I'd say you'd enjoy it.

I don't think you could say they "drastically improved" the series over the last 3-4 years.

Starting with 12, they did overhaul the grappling/striking mechanics. so that may feel foreign to you at first. I think 12 had an in-game tutorial, not sure if 13 has it.

so it's a bit different, yet it should still feel fairly familiar.

how many of the prior Smackdown games have you played, especially in the SvR series?

When it switched to SvR ( that was back in 05, I think ), that's when I felt it started getting stale.

If you've played a lot of the games in the series, then you may be more apt to feel bored/underwhelmed with WWE 13..........

I'd say 12 was certainly a step in the right direction, 13 feels like another baby step in that direction.

so, since you didn't play 12, I'd say you'd like 13...........moreso than if you had played 12.

Well the majority of my wrestling gaming was on Nintendo systems, and that lasted until Day of Reckoning 2. I didn't have a PS3, but my brother did, so I played bits of SvR 07, 08, and 09 whenever I would go to his house. When I finally got my own PS3, I got 2010 and that was pretty much the only one I played extensively. I liked it, although it did feel very familiar to the others that I played.

I did play a couple of matches in '12 and got my ass handed to me because it felt a little different, but I didn't get a chance to really see how different it was.

And to be honest, my interest is purely in the Attitude Mode. I don't think I'll spend too much time in CAW, and I honestly don't know what Universe Mode is to say whether its something that interests me or not.

if you like Attitude Era stuff, then 13 should be for you.

you'll probably need to spend some time learning the new mechanics, though, since you're more familiar with the SvR games.

Universe Mode, even though it's not something I've tried myself, from what I understand is similar to the GM modes of past games. essentially you get to play booker. you set up the rosters, the matches, ppvs, etc. there are some storyline elements ( and Paul Heyman helped to write them ), you can set up feuds, I think.

and this year, since there is no career/story mode for CAWs, it seems like Universe will be an area where I will spend some more time.

but, as you said, you're not that into CAWs. so if you're interested in playing as Attitude stars and reliving the Attitude era, then 13 should suit you.

keep in mind, though, most of the Attitude stars are locked at the outset ( from what I could tell ). I'm guessing you'll have to play through the Attitude Era mode to unlock them, unless there is another way to unlock them ( I think there might be some kind of DLC that you can buy to unlock everything ).

so, just keep that in mind, if you are interested in playing as Attitude stars from the start. you'll be disappointed to find most of them are locked.

I also want to add, in WWE 13, everything seems to load faster. like when you resize/move logos in CAW, in prior games, it would seem like you were wading through mud. load times, too, seem to be a lot faster.

I don't know if it's because for the past few years I played on the PS3, and this year I decided to get 13 on the 360, but so far, everything just seems faster and more responsive.

also, I must say how much I like the 360 controller over the PS3 one. and maybe that's why I didn't really enjoy the last few years, when I played the games on my PS3. something just felt "off." The 360 controller just feels more comfortable in my hands.

Sounds great! Thanks.

I don't mind playing as current superstars in order to unlock more Attitude era stars. I imagine I would have to do so anyway for the trophies since that's what really extended my play for SvR 10.

I hope you like it.

actually, I think in Attitude Era, you can only play as certain Attitude stars as you relive historical matches.

so I'm not sure if you can use current stars to unlock Attitude stars.

I'll let you know as I try it out myself.

it looks like I need to play Attitude Mode to unlock the stars, and hopefully that will give me more CAW parts and moves, cuz right now, I don't see some of the new moves that I've seen online ( like Billy Gunn's Famouser ).

For anyone who has the game, how is Community Creations this time around?

how to Gett Weapons/Objects from under the ring

and

how to do King of the Ring

don't know about weapons, yet.

to do King of the Ring, on the main menu, click Play, then King of the Ring is the last option. Click that and you can set up a tournament.

So just got the game and as per usual have to do the updates. So anyone have any suggestions on what needs changed in game eg face to heel, heel to face, music, teams feuds, alliances etc.

I was just on PSN and saw that the Fan Axxess was $10 with PS+. Dang! I was contemplating getting individual pieces of DLC and I think all I wanted was about $8 worth of stuff but will have to get that instead

I'm very much enjoying the Attitude Era mode, took me a few tries to get past the LOD with NAO but it was so gratifying to smash the Tag Championship across Animal and Hawks face after a couple failed attempts.

Is there a career mode in this for created wrestlers?

You can use your guy in WWE Universe mode and set it up as you like, otherwise there's nothing to plug your guy in and follow and organized storyline.

Did anyone else stick the attitude era guys on the main rosters or did you keep the raw is war brand.

Just got the game yesterday, man I love it way more than WWE' 12. I've only been playing Attitude Era Mode, but it's so much fun. :D Almost done with the DX storyline. Last thing I finished was fighting the Road Warriors, took me quite a few times to hit Hawk/Animal in the face with the championship as well. I just threw it on the ground where I could get it quicker then went back to beat them up, then went and picked up the belt when I knocked the ref out.

Edit- I've completed DX/Austin 3:16 scenarios. Lots of fun. 4/15 for Brothers of Destruction arc.

Some of the objectives took me awhile to figure out. Not that they were hard, but I just didn't know what to do.
