WWII in the New 52

Swamp Thing, I don't think so. Right from the get go it was pretty clear that the character was rebooted.

As I said, Snyder was pretty adamant early on about how the previous continuity, up to a certain point, still existed. It was, I believe, all of the Moore stuff, and atleast everything up until the title switched to Vertigo. That was a rough patch to determine, but in interviews, if I recall correctly, Snyder maintained that previous continuity was intact.

Once Snyder turned Anton Arcane into a crappy, generic one-note villain, it all went out the window. Charles Soule has alluded to previous continuity, but vaguely. But his developments with The Floronic Man pretty much confirm it as being a reboot. As I did mention, Soule did write a moment featuring Moore's Swamp Thing. What I find curious is if the Green recognizes shifts in time. It may be that they recognize Flashpoint happened. I know a few characters know that the first Crisis happened. So who knows. But in terms of carrying over previous Swamp Thing continuity, it did that initially, but does no longer.
