Days of Future Past X-Men: Days of Future Past on DVD/BLU-RAY

Picked it up today and theres an unskipable preview for Gods and exodus which is just ridiculous they just guaranteed me never seeing that movie.

You can fast forward...just can't skip it.

Got these from target :D

I really liked that they changed the hue of the background from yellow/blue to white/gray.

And by the way, I don't like the repackage design of the original trilogy.

What's the "M" rating stand for?
Also, why is there a glow in Magneto's hand? It makes him seem like he has "a light", or some sort of hope, but he nearly thwarted the whole mission by dropping a stadium around the whitehouse and threatening the U.S. president on live TV...

BTw, I never really liked this design for the main poster. So far, the only design I've ever really liked has been the original X2 poster with the entire cast walking face-forward in the black leather.

Edit: and the McAvoy/Stewart & Fassbender/McKellen X posters for DOFP.

Me too.

Me too, hence why I've been hesitating upgrading them to Blu-ray.

What's the "M" rating stand for?

In Australia, it's the middle ground between PG and MA 15+. "Moderate impact violence, swearing" etc

Did........they photoshop Wolverine's face to be smaller?!

Ha, I think they just moved Mystique down and to the left/made her smaller.

It's a metalpak which often gets confused with a steelbook.

I know I can just google this but I'm sure I'm not the only one here who doesn't know this but what's the difference?

I'll probably get this Target "metalpak" tomorrow.

And if I remember correctly, the back-cover for X3 has Anna Paquin's promo shot from X2. Why would they do that? It bugs me. I hope they revert those covers back to the original DVD artworks.

I believe a steelbook is the metal case that contains the regular DVD/Blu-ray (regular case and all) where as a metalpak is actually the case itself (so you open it up and there are the discs).

Same again. The original DVD covers were much better. I just look at the X1 case and think... why is Mystique front and center? For X1? Weird. Eledoremassis02's photo was cool, though.

Thanks!

There were limited edition steelbooks for the blurays a while back. Not sure if they're U.S or not. X2 one is cool :D

I wonder which version of DOFT is selling more? On Bluray.com it seems the Bestbuy one is the most popular followed by Target

^ Now THAT'S more like it when it comes to OT covers. Always loved those X1 posters.

Considering how X2 was Jean's big moment, I hated how she was left out of so many of those covers

I cant with Mystique appearing in more covers than the actual X-Men, like Jean, Storm or even Cyclops who doesnt appear on any of those 7 Dvds. Good approach, Fox....

Picked up the metalpak at Target tonight.

Hopefully grabbing my copy this weekend, dying for it ugh.

I got the Best Buy version the other day. It's got some pretty cool fan art inside.

I hated that there was no DVD/blu-Ray/digital combo ):
