are there any African-American characters to customize.. If not, the next game should have a more diverse base-character customization engine..

i dont like these cheap looking games with wayyy too many colors flying everywhere, it just doesnt allow me to get really immersed in the game... and feels like a ps1 game.

its not enough for me anymore to just be a good x-men game... it has to be a good game in its own.

The next should be X-Men Legends 3.
I can just wonder why they never did it.

Because it was a Raven made game and right now, they are the "outsource" studio for COD games. I mean, more than half of COD: Black Ops' credits were dedicated to Raven!

Oh, but it's not a contractual thing, is it?
Maybe another developer can do it?

bc they wanted to focus on the larger Marvel Universe which is why we got the MuA series. Presumably we would have gotten XML2 when they were done with that but instead we got this, probably bc they wanted to try something different.

well there is always Vicarious Visions which did MuA2. There's also Neversoft who was recently freed from the Guitar Hero series

MuA2 sucked too tho

Who did XO: Wolverine, was that Raven?

because they should make the next x-men game, no doubt.. that game was so much fun, I'd love to play individual levels with different x-men that controls like that game did, it would be so much fun

I thought MUA2 was more fun to play than MUA1. The characters definitely felt more unique and powerful. The only downside was that it was way too short.

i dunno, the changes that were made the the gameplay and character development just kinda killed me, and i didnt think it looked as pretty as the first game...also, i think civil war was not the best story to adapt for that style of game

What do you mean exactly with not as pretty? Because MUA looked like PS2 models with shiny textures.

mainly the character models themselves. it might not've been rendered as well, but i thought the art design in the 1st was superior. Also, I was tremendously impressed by the cg in the cut scenes in the first game, whereas the second skimped on those a bit, and just didn't impress as much on me

I agree on the cutscenes, but the character models were miles ahead of MUA1. With exception of the cutscenes, that were made by Blur studios, everything else looked rather ugly.

ehh, different strokes, eh?

at least we can all agree this game looks like poop, tho
:woot:

MuA2 looked much better than MuA1. MuA2 was high res PS1 models with advanced lighting. There's quite an improvement in character models and technology used between the two games

I kinda liked MUA2. It was a much shallower game in places but some of the dialogue / character based elements were really fun. I specially liked Deadpool commentary on his double self after his boss fight section.

Raven did that. They were making their own original and bloody Wolverine game but Activision forced them in turning that game into a movie tie-in.

Regardless, it kicked major ass. That game needs a sequel.

XO: Wolverine was one of those rare instances where the movie's tie-in game was actually better than the movie itself!! lol

there's a movie on the way which guarantee we'll get one. Hopefully it wont be made by Sega

No one owns the rights to Deadpool...so right now everyone has an equal chance of making a Deadpool game. If Marvel was smart, they'd get Raven to do the game in the same vein as the Wolverine game they did.

Ironically, the two best Marvel games got no sequels: Hulk: Ultimate
Destruction, and Wolverine.
