Sequels X-Men: First Class

Well, Angel won't be in the film - at least he won't be affiliated with Xavier. The first time he entered the school was in The Last Stand, so, there'd be no reason for him to have any interaction with Jean or the rest of the team. I can foresee a love triangle, though, involving Emma, Scott and Jean.

I would prefer to see (in the beginning of the movie) flashbacks of their: first interactions with prof, former hardships, etc. while they are embarking on one of their huge missions, showing team work and careful obediance to the prof. That way it wouldn't be just another origin movie that follows the chronological sequence of every other origin movie.

I like this idea, It'd be interesting if they showed a flashback of the Professor interacting with Scott as a boy with his eyes bandaged... and tie in that the Professor has been watching Scott for quite some time, and being the only orphan of the escapees keeps him at the mansion and thus begins the institute...

wow I had no idea Beast was supposed to be signigicantly older than the other X-Men... my other choice would've been Josh Henderson (he, like Andy Lawrence reminds me of Steve Bacic, but he seems to cool to be Beast) he's only 28

IDK IMO Beast shouldn't be too much older (maybe 5 years at most) just more mature as his age is not expressely stated in X3, plus in Beast form he seems significantly older, as the actor who portrayed him in X2 (human form) was only what 41 then, 44 now...

Plus in X3 Beast wasn't gettin down like no 50+ y/o... he seemed to be a lil older than Storm, just significantly more mature, I thought that was just because he was the smarty pants of the X-Men

Hopefully they dont end up casting gyus like zack efron or chase crawford or celebs like that. I want unknowns in this film. Actors the audience can grow up with to the sequels of first class. Itll be a positive in the long run if they do.

Was it that harsh?...I guess I've been hanging around the Batman side of the forums for a little too long (if you think I'm harsh hang with those guys, LOL).
An unknown African American actress would be great for the role since everyone else is basically unknown although I wouldn't be mad if KeKe palmer was asked. And hopefully they keep the Emma Frost that they had in the wolverine movie and ditch the cyclops cause he looked nothing like James.

Thinking on it, it wasn't that harsh, but still ...(not at all) though I'd prefer an unknown, Keke Palmer's actually one of the best young dramatic actresses out today... I mean she's worked with actor like Angela Basset, Lawrence Fishbourne, William H. Macy, Samuel L. Jackson and soon to be Kevin Spacey ... and has received nominations for either best leading/best supporting actress in each of these roles opposite established actors before the age of 15... you've gotta give the girl some credit

She was, it was a somewhat funny family film, I wasnt upset at it.
Am I the only one who doesn't want Tim Pocock to come back he looks nothing like James, whoever plays storm has leniency because there is no person that I've seen who looks like Halle Berry.
I do hope they bring back the girl who played Emma Frost, though.

If this project ever does happen, I have a feeling Tim will be replaced as Cyclops by a real actor (given the central role Cyclops will need to have in the absense of Wolverine).

Tim's role in Wolverine was basically a glorified cameo.


Fox will likely turn to some established actors.

The problem here is: when will they shoot First Class?

2010?... 2011?

Tim Pollock will look much older than in XO Wolverine, the same with Emma.

It won't be believeable to see 24 years actors playing Scott, Jean etc joining the Xavier school, when they did it some years ago (having seen Jean on Last Stand and Scott and Emma on Wolverine).

Do we actually know if this movie is set straight after Wolverine.
It could be set 4 years after Xavier founded the X-men.
It would still be his First Class.

So it wont matter if the actors are older.

i'd just like to say, to be fair... we don't know if that is actually the "first class" or not... nor do we know if anyone of them other then cyclops will be in he film.
