Sequels X-Men: First Class

I dont like the Sentinels as the villians because i think it would be too soon for them. Like in X3 or the other x-men films the sentinels werent in the film. And they were older x-men. Maybe a team created by magneto with scarlett witch quicksilver etc. To show the beginning of prof x and magneto's rivalry.

I want these films to be in pretty good continuity, but I don't want that to hurt the chances of really going for certain things. I mean, Gavin Hood didn't let Sabretooths appearance in X1 stop him from using the character in Wolverine, and I hope the same goes for this film. I don't want anyone to say "Well, we can't have Sentinels, or Apocalypse, or this, or that, because it's bigger than what was established in X1-3."

Well Fox is trying hard to tie all the movies together, and they seem to have thought certain things through (like cyclops being blindfolded in the scene where he is near wolverine), And since Wolverine and Sabretooth have both gone ferral in the comics, and since wolverine was written with sequels in mind, it wouldn't suprise me that by the end of his franchise he actually does look alot more like feral X1 Sabretooth. So right now, that reason doesn't exactly hold up.

Sentinels can work much more logically then Apocalypse. Plus who the hell wants Apocalypse without Archangel? LAME.

I don't see why Sabretooth would appear in any of the Wolverine sequels.

Unless Logan loses him memory. . .again.

tiz a good point... it's kinda an odd combo, i mean it's kinda a given if there's a wolvie trilogy, sabretooth will return, but then again, wolvies had his mind messed with a bunch, so it could be very easy for a telepath to easily make him forget parts of it again.

I'd expect to see Sabes in one of these films before another Wolverine movie.

You'd expect to see sabes in Magneto or First class? Sabes in a movie without wolverine just seems wrong :(

Sabretooth or Stryker. When I watch Huston's Stryker, I'm not exactly reminded of Cox's Stryker. Granted, I don't think the difference between Cox and Huston is as great as the difference between Mane and Schreiber, but I think there is one, and I don't think Hood let it stand in the way of his interpretation.

I still really want a post X3 movie dealing with Sinister....

Gambit, and Sabretooth could return as part of the mauraders working for Sinister (as the main villain), The morlocks are Callisto's omega mutants from X3 who survived Jeans attack and retreated into the sewer system, fearing the outside world. Callisto could have survived as well blinded in one eye etc. Storm, learns about the attack and her and Angel (plus maybe a few more) go down to protect the morlocks. Callisto is killed, Angel is de-winged, and Gambit realizes he was tricked into a capture and genocide mission. Gambit turns on sinister and helps rescue some morlocks (nice marrow cameo), and head back with the X-men. drama ensues as angel leaves the X-men after losing his wings. And Gambit is found out to be the one who helped cause the whole ordeal. by the end of the movie, Sinister is found to have had Scott all this time, Turns Angel into Archangel, and Gambit redeems himself gaining the trust of the other X-men.

I like all of that except for Cyclops being alive.

X3 had casualties and one of them ended up coming back from the dead.

We don't need another resurrection.

*If X4 is made, it needs to have one of the younger X-Men as a leader now - and watching the alternate ending to X3, Iceman is the best candidate.

I could see Moira and Xavier kinda being together at the begining, she'd be a bit younger then him, about banshee's age. Ideally first class should probably be aged like this

Cyclops (17-18) Jean (16) Storm (16 or 17) Beast (20-21), and Banshee (20-23) Xavier i'd put in his late 30's to mid 40's and Moira I'd put in her Late 20's/early 30's. Have Banshee fall for Moira, and she ends up leaving Xavier (but still remains a close friend to him) and the 2 of them stay in Muir Island by the end of the movie.
Great idea man, I could definetly see that happening.

Well Cyclop's death was written that way so he could return. The writer's even said so way back when.

I heard that cyclops was not killed but was trapped in the same "thing" jean grey was in the lake. So theres something there to work with. And the professor transferring his mind into that of his dead brain dead twin brother which was the guy that was brain dead from the video in prof x'x class from the middle of the film. So theres alot to work with for a xmen 4 film. Its just really about budget money.

Jean Grey was trapped in a cocoon of her own telekinetic power.

But isnt it possible for Jean to have transferred him to the cocoon? Since she was so powerful as the phoenix she probably created a cocoon and trapped him there? Idk ive just always liked the Cyclops character. If you go to wikipedia for x-men 3 its said the people she "killed" werent killed but sent to another dimension. Maybe Professor X figures that out and gets Cyclops out.

if that were the case, then after Wolverine killed her that cacoon would dissipate and Scott would drown or be crushed by the water. so still dead.

Eh lol its X-Men. No one can stay dead. Just look at how they brought Professor X back at the end.

Xavier's return made sense.

Here's a man who's mind is so powerful, that he could transfer it to another body who was 3000 miles away.

Scott Summers is dead. Atomized.

actually again, his death was off screen. Jean only thinks she killed him. There's several things that could have happened to scott.

Agreed. We never actually saw his death. We’re just left to assume and assumptions could go either way. Storm and Wolvie finding Jean unconscious in the forest indicates that Scott realizing something was wrong, pulled away from the kiss of death at the last moment and Jean lost control of his eye beams. Something similar to their X2 fighting must’ve occurred, but bigger judging by the whole lake and surroundings being vaporized(which explains why Wolverine couldn’t track his scent) and they’re sent flying back in the opposite directions. Jean ends up unconscious, but Scott ends up in a coma(which explains why Xavier couldn’t sense him). Someone finds him and takes him to the hospital and he wakes up when Fox decides to make an X4 :oldrazz:

I want First Class to be a re-boot because I hated all three X-Men films.

And please get a director that won't put in his own ideas of underlying gay tones.

That comment is going to go over well.

it is very frustrating how the x3 problems can be fixed in a next installment you could start fresh with a new set of trilogies and stories but they didn't even attempt at a 4th

The theme of an oppressed minority is intrinsic to the franchise, so some parallels to the gay rights movement is to be expected. They should probably expand the focus to religion, race, and sex as well though. Those are a bit more serious issues.
