He needs to stick to Indy stuff where his abstract art can be appreciated. Every style does not work for Super Heroes. Huge butts and everybody looking like derivatives of that monkey dude on the Golden Child not withstanding.
My dear, sweet brother Numsi! :woot:

Gosh, I wonder who the floating man with the dome head and big cape will be!

Can Warpath and Nate Grey switch places?

I find it Interesting that Logan has close to no Telepaths. Yes, he has Monet, but she's just about the weakest one of the x-characters right now. And x-factor is still probably gonna be in its own little corner.

Considering none of the silhouettes belong to Professor X, I'd find it a little bit hilarious if this X-Men split was all part of his nefarious plot to take control again.

Well all the covers havent been released yet. Psylocke could still be on his side and then there's Rachel

Yeah, I think Rachel might be on the X-men legacy cover

I'm still wondering what the roster is going to look like in Astonishing...I imagine not much will change and it'll somehow contain scott, emma, hank, and logan. Yay for non-continuity astonishing!:o

AXM cast changes depending on the writer and what they want to write. It wont be directly affected by Schism and will most likely to rotate based on writer

Is it just be or does it look liek Hope and Dani are staring each other down? Both got guns in their hands and it looks like they are ready for a rematch

Editorial admitted wayyyy back that Astonishing X-Men would be a comic that hovers outside of continuity. This was just before the Exogenesis/Xenogenesis stuff. At this point, complaining about it being out of continuity is no different from complaining about a What If? comic being out of continuity.

Didn't we get told it was supposed to be back in continuity once Pak comes onboard?

Psylocke is definitely on the X-force cover. So she's one telepath with Logan.

I'm fine with astonishing being slightly out of continuity. I can figure out myself where the stories should be taking place when reading them. :o

I don't think that's quite the case. What I see happening down the road (2-3 years or however long it takes for this setup to get stale) is Prof X assisting both sides to keep things civil and eventually making the X-Men whole again (against some mega threat I'm sure) and we get some old school X-Men 90's era blue and gold teams all operating out of the X-Mansion.

I think this whole split is like Civil War but the 2 sides won't be as aggressive to each other as in CW. Probably just some verbal pot shots back and forth. When push comes to shove I'm sure they will back each other up. I don't expect them to tangle ever few issues. Think of how things were back in the day with the Aussie X-Men and the original X-factor team.

Ahhhh, the good old days when there werent literally dozens of X-men around and nearly 10 titles to keep track of them all

You betcha! Although I was referring more to how those 2 teams didn't like each other at all but it didn't stop them from getting together and kicking the Goblin Queen and Sinister's asses during Inferno.

SERIOUSLY! why is it we need what 4-5 books dealing with "The X-Men" plus New Mutants, X-Force, and X-Factor on top of that? whatever, we've been down that road quite enough already. ive been screaming the same thing with The New 52: Batman, Detective Comics, Batman & Robin, Batman: Dark Knight....whats the difference besides one book starring a side-kick?

comics suck sometimes.

I wouldnt say they didnt like each other as they didnt know the other existed. X-facotr thought the X-men were dead and the X-men didnt know the O5 were masquearading as X-factor (which was dumb considering they were a public group). The two teams had no beef with each other up until Inferno as they never interacted till then

Yep in the late 80s all we had were Uncanny X-men, X-factor, New Mutants and Excalibur. There were barely overlapping casts (besides maybe X-men playing minor supporting roles in NM and vice versa) and each book felt different. Best thing was, you didnt really didnt have to follow all of them and the continuity was much easier to peace together. I liked when it was all simple. Even the 90s werent too bad. Its all gone downhill in like the last decade

I loved when they did meet during Inferno and Logan kissed Jean. Scott got pissed and Logan said "you got your own red-head, your wife! (referring to Madelyne) Remember her?"

OWNED.

The difference between now and then is that there are a lot more X-Men hanging around these days. Back in the 80's, you could fit all of the known X-characters into 3 comics. These days, the panoramic covers alone put a full roster on 8 different comics. If we only had Uncanny X-Men, X-Men, and X-Factor to deal with, we'd all be complaining that there isn't enough room for our favorite characters.

I mean, look at the 8 covers we've got so far. Look at all those characters. That doesn't even include the New/Young X-Men or the X-Club, and I bet we'll all be able to name at least a dozen missing characters once all the silhouettes are revealed.
