To me, the X-Men have been kind of stale as of late but I love this new turn. Logan back at the mansion and all the big guns together with Cyke as leader seems damn cool and fresh. It's like Cyke's Avengers with some BIG BIG guns. I'm hooked.

I enjoy it. Gambit's had some good moments there. He had an awesome fight with Daken during the crossover. He was barely in the most recent arc though and I don't know how long he'll stick with the title due to this whole Regenesis thing.

I don't even have the tiny modicum of interest in X-23 necessary to bother trying her series.

Not a fan of that Alien meets Jurassic Park hybrid creature WTF is that anyways? Is it something I should know? (I'll be upset if it is...)

Are you talking about the Child Brood that was in Wolverine and the X-Men?

If thats who he's talking about, I see no problems with him. What little we saw of Broo, he seems to have a good enough personality to make for an interesting chaaracter

BTW who is Zero? That name was listed in the Gen Hope list and Im drawing a blank on who that might be

Kenji, the fifth light that they went after in the first arc of Gen Hope.

I hope he sticks around a lot, even in the X-books he is rarely actually used for anything useful. :(

Yeah, he debuted in Gage's Astonishing X-Men arc just prior to Schism and was a cool little character. I didn't expect anything to come of him but he should be a cool addition to Wolverine & the X-Men.

I totally still call him "Tetsuo" in my head. :o

Broo is a Brood child that Beast, Abigail Brand, and a squad of X-Men found in a SWORD base out in space in Christos Gage's recent Astonishing X-Men arc. He was admitted to the school because, unlike the vast majority of Brood, he's a mutant who's capable of feeling compassion (the only other one we know of is the Brood from the Hulk's Warbound).

I had no clue he was in AXM as I dont read that book. I thought he was a new addition to WaTX

I typically don't read Astonishing either but I liked that line up so I gave his 3 issue arc a shot. It was decent.

It was indeed. Gage can write anything well. Although the X-Men were all a little too happy to reign genocide down on the Brood for my liking. Kitty's held onto a bit of that in the form of some light racism toward Broo as of WatXM #1, too.

The Dark Angel Saga is awesome. Its the dark phoenix saga again (original X-Men gets possesed by benevolent destructive force) but much more action packed and darker.

If it ends with Warren getting his sanity back, I may consider liking the character again. If it ends with Warren losing his Death form entirely, I may love the character again, but once again find myself arguing with 90% of all X-Men fans about why Archangel doesn't suck with his original powers.

....Why exactly doesn't he suck with his original powers?

Screw you, that's why he doesn't suck!

*runs away crying*

*sigh*

People act like the only thing Warren had going for him was a pair of wings before Apocalypse Death'd him up. He also has fairly high durability, strength, and eyesight. His wings were also insanely strong, and he could probably knock someone the F out if he flapped them in someone's face once.

And let's be real; Warren is about as "useless" in a fight as Kurt was. They both have powers that allow them to travel faster than normal people, and every fight they've ever been in has seen them rely on their skills in either hand-to-hand or edged weapon combat. But Warren just looks like a dude with wings while Kurt is the cool looking blue elf demon thing, so people disregard their powers whenever declaring how cool or lame they are.

If Warren has ever come off as useless in a fight without becoming Death, it's down to the writer. And quite frankly, I find it a little sad that the last person who could make normal Warren look like a badass was Claremont in Excalibur a few years back.

I still find it unrealistic that Warren could carry anyone. His wings already have to be super big just to lift himself, never mind a passenger. They would simply be too heavy.
