Seriously how many times can Jean be held accountable for what happened in DPS? She went on trial in that story and paid with her life. The D'bari survivor came after her for justice in Claremont's Revolution run. The Shi'ar came after her when the Phoenix returned in End Song. The Death Commandos murdered her entire family. This is a story concept thats been overdone already. Now she has to go on trial for something that happened a hundred years ago (which this version had nothing to do with) And WTF. We just had AvX which showed that ANYONE can become Phoenix and a corrupted one at that. Its not like taking her out or whatever will prevent another DPS

You forget that, from the looks of AvX, nothing at all Phoenix-related happened during the time between Dark Phoenix Saga and AvX.

He was working with SHIELD the whole time, and their scientists whipped up a serum that could stave off the adamantium poisoning effects. It was addressed in the comic.

The new X-Factor has me hugely interested solely for Lorna and Gambit.

I have been really wanting Marvel to do more with Gambit that isn't just pining over Rogue.

but that's kinda stupid anyway, wasn't the whole point that the adamantium coating his bones didn't allow his bone marrow to produce more fresh blood, so without his healing factor to give him new blood, he'd die? What kinda "serum" could help that?? He'd need to be walking around on dialysis or with a blood-bag or something the whole time

I have been really wanting Marvel to do more with Gambit that isn't just pining over Rogue.

I hope he's pining for Lorna . God knows it will be refreshing to see her with someone else which didnt involve pining away after Alex. Those two seem like they could be fun and I have faith PAD may go there. He seems to pick up on fanfare and incorporates it into his story. While not big, Remy/Lorna do seem to have a small following on the internet which he's most likely aware of.

BatX is truly the worst X-event in recent years featuring the core books. After the most recent issue, all I was left thinking was thank god there's only 2 more left and then the conclusion

That solo was great. Totally bummed they stopped it. I especially loved the Gambit and Pete Wisdom interactions.

I still really want to see Pete Wisdom and Nick Fury team up. A buddy spy mini with those two as squabbling while bringing down some evil spy ring would be fun.

Him and Blindfold are in a bit of a relationship, but nothing's been said about them eventually having a kid together or him having fathered on with anyone else.

Look, dude, it's comics. How does Wolverine miraculously regenerate from a single cell? How does the Infinity Formula keep Nick Fury from aging? It all boils down to, "Because the writers said so." So that's how SHIELD developed a serum that can stave off the adamantium poisoning too.

I wonder if those are gonna stick around long cuz it looks more like they're related to the upcoming Guardians crossover and less like an X-Men uniform.

It looks official to me especially since it has an X and the O5 have a history of having different colored uniforms. I think considering the fact that X-23 is getting her own variation of this as she joins the team, is indication that its not merely a GotG thing

I loved Rogue and Gambit's look in those suits, especially done by joemad

that said, they are clearly space suits, and have similarities to the guardians outfits, so unless the 05 are staying in space with them- should they survive the trial and everything- I'm thinkin they'll get another new set of togs when they get back to earth

not saying Wolvie hasn't been a bit of a hypocrite lately due to some poor writing

but f*** scott, guys a *****ebag, always has been... only time I didn't actively dislike him was during Whedon's run

and I don't understand how Kitty can take the position she's taking in BoTA, its just so dumb
then for her to join up with the Uncanny team just seems so against her nature
nobody believed in Wolvie's side of schism more than her, now she's gunna ditch that because she likes the 05 too much to let them go home..?

bleh.. i hope not... because I could totally see Hasbro throwing these figures out as the Original 5, rather than the classic figures.. I wouldn't want to buy those costumes in figure form

Never liked Kitty and after BoTA, I'm pretty much done w/ her entirely. Cyclops is on the slowest route to redemption since Iron Man after Civil War.

And surprise surprise as the 2 deaths in this issue. Can't my boy ever catch a break?
