They could use Tim Miller's take on Colossus, as well. Stefan Kapcic could easily play Piotr in human form.

Stegan kapcic will have to work out like crazy to get a bulky as colossus and probably grow a foot and a half taller, otherwise you will need an expanding hulk style effect to go along with the metal gloss over

Colossus in deadpool is HUGE! which is likely why he is all CGI.

Deadpool used a completely different Colossus from the comics. How that does stop them from rebooting the franchise.

Like I've said. Personally I would use New Mutants as a reboot of the franchise, with a new actor as Professor X.

And have a new X-Men movie featuring said actor as Professor X afterwards. They could use Tim Miller's take on Colossus, as well. Stefan Kapcic could easily play Piotr in human form.

I disagree with that.for starters Colussus as he appears in deadpool is not how he should be In X-Men film.If your going to reboot X-Men scrap all the spin-offs
and just do a X-Men film.well as long as it's not In MCU

A reboot would be more possible now if only Deadpool wasn't a big success. It would be more complicated to go on a full reboot now when Foxcould just use the Deadpol and X-Force cross over card to X-Men in order to get the people's interest.

But I am a X-Men fan first and I don't really care about Deadpool and splinter teams like X-Force and New Mutants. So screw it, reboot X-Men if that means, we would see Rogue, Iceman, Angel, Psylocke, Emma, Gambit, Havok, Banshee, Bishop as X-Men and in an universe where Mystique isn't Xavier adopted sister.

Spider-man:Homeconing trailer shows entirely why X-men needs to be done at Fox.

And quite honestly a reboot won't sastify everyone.rebooting means all other films including deadpool never happened.it's so dumb when people cry for reboots and then say we don't want origin.

For X-men reboot i gurantee wolverine would be included as the most popular X-Men.You are still going to have same problem with rogue is a lot of powers people want aren't really her's but those she absorbed from MS marvel a character fox doesn't have.The X-Men's greatest enemy Magneto might not be used since they can't use his backstory as WWII survivor.

I strongly disagree with obsession with wanting emma frost on X_Men team.that was dumb idea in comics.as was enitre cyclop-frost relationship.

and considering how studios seem to want to look so much at ultimate line,MCU spider-man seem to incorporate elemets of other spider-man into peter parker,the good bet is they would use the ultimate X-Men lineup or something similar.that's how the first 2 avengers films worked untill end of age of ultron.both reboots of spider-man first by sony and then Marvel primly looked at ultimate Spider-man.

IDK, I mean they gave Kitty Pryde a second ability to transfer consciousness through time in DOFP, I'm pretty sure they can just say Rogue has SuperStrengh and Flight. BTW after watching the entirety of Westworld I can now say: Evan Rachel Wood for Rogue, please.

As for marvelrobbins and his Emma Frost point, I WOULD like her as a main villain in a future X-Men movie. She's closest in power to Xavier and plus with her Stepford Cuckoos she would make a worthy villain. Just gotta come up with an evil plan for her.

Would Emma Frost only be usable in a new continuity or reboot, given how she was already featured?

Also, I do like the idea of a new Rogue, particularly if it's someone like Evan Rachel Wood, but given what's been done with Rogue in the past, I doubt Fox would take advantage of her power set and instead give us a lite version of what we got with Anna Paquin.

I think marvelrobbins' issue is that even in an eventual reboot, they still can't "give" Rogue flight and superstrength because Marvel somehow owns the rights to those abilities by way of Ms. Marvel. Which is the real head scratcher.

Reynolds had some interesting things to say on how the studio looked at the matter. Basically blackmailing him.

I find it so naive that many fans believe everything Reynolds says about Deadpool...as if this is not part of FOX's marketing plan for the movie...this narrative is a good example how cultural capital in the art system can be maximized if economic value is disavowed...Thus Deadpool becoming the true "authentic" fanboy movie that was a) only done because the fans demanded the movie and b) a passionate actor/artists undermines the power of the evil, commercial studio FOX.

as for emma frost yes at time origins was made and released that was intended to be emma frost but since the name emma frost wasn't heard or

they already started to narrate the story that LOGAN could only be done because Jackmann voluntarily reduced his salary. lol the artistic passion of all these mainstream movie actors is so amazing! They REALLY DO IT ONLY FOR US FANS AND THEIR CRAFT! lol While the evil, greedy company FOX produces bad movies only for the money, Hugh Jackmann does it for the fans and his artistic integrity.

I cannot wait to hear how Josh Boone shot New Mutants in secret with his own money and without FOX knowing...he actually planned to release the movie in an art museums for free but fans convinced him and FOX to bring the movie instead to 3.000 theaters in the United States in 2018 although FOX does not have any hope in the low budget movie of $ 90.000.000.

My line up for the X-Men reboot would be Prof X and the original five or I would split the X-Men into two teams. Team Gold for the first movie then Team blue for the second film. Then two teams united for the third film.

If you want to reboot at least go with the real X-Men a.k.a. Storm, Wolverine, Colossus, Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Banshee, Sunfire & Phoenix.
