I hope so too, right now I feel like my girlfriend cheated on me. Please, let the running time be longer! PLEASE! From what I've read I think that if they have more time to develop characters the movie will be much better. Please don't let these advanced screenings be the final cut I just feel like I've been getting BS from the actors, director, producers and writers everytime they've talked about the movie.

Don't be so quick to blame FOX for the runtime. FOX allowed too longer X-Men movies before this. This may very well be the movie Ratner and company wanted to make. Faster, more intense.

I'm just going by their track record. But to me if it was cut down by Fox it still got out alive.

I could really care less that there's a different opening. It seems its a variation. It's just an opening.

the firebird pisses me off. But maybe they tried and it didn't work. Or it was there but Fox cut it out ala Doom's voice or some other effects from previous movies. Who knows? But she still sounds like she'll be pretty cool.

Geez, that was the biggest prelude in X2 and they didn't even use it. How can they just disregard the flame during the scene in X2.

And the movie obviously sounds rushed. I don't know what the **** fox was thinking, but i'm sure they could of made it longer. If i find out they made it shorter because Brett wanted it shorter, i'm gonna have a ***** fit.

GRRR i'm really starting to think that this movie is gonna suck for everyone except hardcore fans. and i'm sure alot of fans are gonna like it more then it deserves to be liked. I'm getting that same feeling i got before shakira released her recent cd. I had a feeling it wasn't gonna live up to the expectaion and bomb, and sure enough, it did. Prove me wrong x3!!

No, the opening is a bit different this time, it is not DNA, but the cure that u see...
And no monologue by Prof X over it either...

I know that sounds minor, no narration by Prof. X...I'm not too thrilled to hear that...oh well, we can't have it all...the original narration in the first one was last minute...hopefully all pre screenings were still early versions and almost 95percent complete.

ok, just a few questions.

without giving anything away, can you comment on dr. kavita rao, moira, and bill duke's character?

Kavita is really good actually! And she does get quite a few scenes and some closure too!

Moira, 3 scenes in total.. all im gonna say on that one!

Bill Duke plays Trask... but this is not the trask from the comics, he is just an aide to the president.. does not do much really..

So how exactly DOES the movie start? There's no cerebro doors? the credits are in the middle of the movie? Ugh, they can't even tie the movies together huh...

The movie opens with the YOung JEan scene (lasts about 2/3 minutes..) followed directly by young Angel (lasts about 60 seconds).. then the credits come... it is similar to X1 and X2.. but also different enough, probably Ratners way of saying.. look guys, it's almost the same, but I'm adding my touches to it!

I REALLY REALLY enjoyed this movie, and asdly for me, the biggest flaw was the short runtime which reuced the amount of screentime offered to the supporting roles that could of had more!

No bar scene, no... Yes to Jubilee and Artie.. not sure if Siryn is there.. there is a girl crying at a funeral which could be her, but not 100% sure!

I hated the idea of the bar scene especially considering it seemed like such a lame way to finish Wolverine's new arc in this movie. So if it's not in there. It's definitely for the best.

I didn't think it was lame to finish where he baiscally started. A few people came up with a great scene for him.Shame it's been cut though i think some folks will be glad because that mean less Logan.

Well stranger things have happened and after all Logan is an 'animal' who follows his instincts.Maybe he feels his presence is not needed with Beast coming back to the school?
