You can only wear Abercrombie if the CEO thinks you deserve to

It's his right to do this. Just as it's my right to think he's an asshat. Let's not forget A&F used to sell thongs targeted at middle school girls with "come and get it" and such written on the elastic band.

Well, in their defense a lot of middle schoolers are ****s.

As others have said this isn't exactly news.

The only people who think abercrombie and fitch is cool in the UK are 30 or 40 year old yuppies and chavs. Most 18 to 22 year olds cannot afford abercrombie and fitch clothing and most of them wouldn't be caught dead wearing that stuff.

The type of people that wear their stuff are Jersey Shore, The Valleys, Geordie Shore, TOWIE type fake tan/Essex *****ebags.

A&F have been trying to escape the chav brand tag ever since they opened in the UK. No wonder Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino, the star of MTV's Jersey Shore, was offered a "substantial payment" by Abercrombie & Fitch to no longer wear their clothes. Its funny because guys like him are he exact type who buy their clothes.

Preppy kids shop in hackett, , Ralph Lauren, Lacoste or barbour.
Abercrombie is about playing rugby in a field with your best bud...only you both forgot your clubs.

Most pro-rugby dudes a huge guys with busted up faces due to playing a contact sport with no proper helmets or padding.

Abercrombie is more for dudes who play a sport like lacrosse

I'm fine with this. I've never had any desire to wear their D-bag clothing.

Let's face it, how many of us actually know anyone who wears abercrombie and fitch anyway?

I confess...in high school I used to wear Abercrombie and Hollister (not always but I owned some stuff) :( laugh away Hypsters.....laugh away....

Who didn't do stuff in high school that was to fit in? Even the ones claiming they weren't all mainstream were technically trying to fit in with the rest of the non mainstreamers.

Yeah we've all seem the types who call people "sheep" and "conformists", yet dress exactly like all of their friends.

What are yuppie and chav ?

Yuppie's are people that stick their noses up at lower class citizens.

Pretty much they are the women you see who carry around their dogs in their purses. And the men wear outfits that look like they just stepped off a Yacht.

Ok, I get the idea. Now I remember the word ( yuppie ) but didn't heard it for ages, at least not the last 20 years :)
I will look up for chav on the urban dico.

Urban Dictionary has become more plausible than the actual dictionary.

True.

Many Teenagers and tweens go through that stage which is why everyone has bad teenage fashion disaster pictures in the deepest darkest corners of their closet.

Most people will wear whatever is popular to fit in as a kid and some people will do that as well as an adult.

By the time you hit your an adult people will probably be less susceptible to peer pressure and have a stronger sense of their own identity so will dress how they want. There are also some people who just don't give a damn and wear what the hell they want as well.
