I'm surprised they didn't mention Donald vs. Rosie as a catastrophe.

They're probably proud of it. I wish the page had a textbox for ideas you can write in as failures. I'd immediately put failing to keep CM Punk's hype strong in 2011.

Agreed. I'm behind Reigns but he's not Brock Lesnar or Kurt Angle level. Sliding into the main event too soon could be a problem.

He's definitely more green than they were after a year in the company.

Could well be, if I was doing the push and IF he gets over big enough I'd have Reigns with a mid card title run next year leading to him winning the Rumble in 2015 and then the title at Mania 31, the same night Cena fails to end the streak. If things are on course with Reigns by Mania 32 then I'd have him end the streak.

Regardless of if the latter part happens I really hope Reigns gets the oldschool push where his first WWE title comes from a Rumble win and Mania main event Championship victory.

Hmm, I can imagine them booking a IC title program between Reigns and Langston at some point, but both need get much better in the next few months.

That's a good plan. I wonder how much longer will Taker keep showing up. And giving Reigns his first WWE title reign at Mania is a great idea.

Well Reigns as the top guy is a lot better than Ryback and it opens up a Cena heel turn. (Please happen!)

Bayley is going to snap at some point. She needs to study Foley promos to learn to convey rightious anger, specifically "Cane Dewy" and his promo promo from RAW 4/6/98. I like the idea of Bayley cutting a promo at her house where she destroys her WWE merchandise and talks about everyone taking advantage of her because of her sweet nature.

You're a fountain of information on this stuff man. I'm kinda surprised Triple H didn't keep the Flair version for his entire run with it. I notice the casting format and subsequent degradation of the belt began after he lost it to Batista and never held it again lol.
Lol, I think sometimes I know a bit too much about this stuff than I should. :woot: :oldrazz: Yeah, I agree. I think the main reason as to why it was changed though was to modify the artwork to include the WWE logo. The belt was also downsized a bit and the plates curved to better form and fit around the waist too. Haha, yeah, that goes without saying considering it's Haitch. I wouldn't be surprised if he kept the original etched version as a memento for himself and everyone else had to make do with the casts, lol. :D :oldrazz:

Without a doubt, it's the reason The Shield has worked so well to begin with, 3 very different talents that all bring unique qualities to the team. There's no reason this shouldn't transfer into oferring the main event scene 3 very different talents to spruce it up.
Completely agreed.

Yeah, that internet geek comment made me chuckle. Triple H is an interesting figure within the IWC in recent times. He does things that most hate, but he also does things that we love.
Agreed. As I think Hunter and some others have said in the past, he's just a magnificent bastard! :D

I'm at work, what are they doing?

Also who do you guys think Sheamus will wrestle at Mania?

It looks like Titus just saw the divas match from Survivor Series.

Ambrose on commentary is like a cross between Christopher Walken, Al Pacino and Benecio Del Toro.

Some thoughts on how I would book things till Wrestlemania:

TLC-Triple H turns on Orton, Cena turns heel and becomes the true face of the WWE and undisputed champion.

On Raw, Cena cuts a promo about how when Vince called for Ruthless Aggression, he answered. He took on all comers and held the WWE title more times than anyone. Then Vince decided he wanted to appeal to the masses, and Cena was forced to dumb himself down for the kids to stay on top. Punk, Bryan, and Orton stand up to the authority.

Royal Rumble- Cena defeats Orton in a rematch thanks to intervene from the Sheild. In the Rumble, the final four are Punk, Bryan, Reigns, and Ambrose. Reigns spears Ambrose after Bryan moves out of the way, setting up the Shield to be eliminated. Punk and Bryan go back and forth ala Taker/HBK from 07, and ultimately Punk wins the rumble.

Elimination Chamber- The chamber match is 3 on 3 under War Games rules. Punk, Bryan, and Orton vs the Sheild. The faces win after Reigns accidentally spears Rollins. Cena retains whomever, maybe Ziggler or Big Show.

Rollins and Ambrose kick Reigns out of the Sheild.

Wrestlemania- Punk defeats Cena. Reigns defeats Ambrose. Rest is a work in progress.

speaking of, I am loving Ambrose on commentary.

Impact was not a good show this week, though wonder if they half-assed it knowing it was a holiday.

I'm ready for Styles to return, but I like that he's taking time away to sell the the storyline.

I don't object to any of this. Cena as a heel writes itself.

The face tag team looks like the Democratic National Convention.

Going up against an alliance of hillbillys and militants. Topical.

I'm not watching, but did the heels all come out to Eric Cartman's Minorities In My Waterpark? That would be an ideal song.

Cool, Aftermath (Renee Young's old show when she was a regular sportscaster) is back on the air.

Definitely, Reigns has been working steadily with top, experienced talent but usually in tag matches, his singles level is still fairly untested. Big E has probably had more singles experience but hasn't had the calibre of guys to work with that Reigns has had night in and night out. Lots of potential though.

I just really want to see that old Rumble win + First WWE title win at WrestleMania double back in effect to crown a new top guy.

Lol. :D Do you collect the replicas? Oh yeah, it's probably in Trips collection cabinet along with his golden shovel and a lock of Brock's hair! :oldrazz:
