So are we looking at a Henry-Big E team for a while, then Henry turns on Big E and puts him over in the big blowoff match?

I can dig that.

I remember one time during the Attitude Era where two Divas were fighting in the shower and a friend of mine, who was gay, said, "This would be so much better if it was Flyin' Bryan and Stone Cold."

It shows you how much different the old days where when those two were considered the eye candy.

I thought the 8 man elimination tag match was the only highlight of Impact and even then the finishing stretch with Angle was absurd.

The 'Winner, winner Chicken dinner' segment was awful, overlong and pointless, the only positive being Velvet! :wow:

The Aces & Eights funeral.............

EC3 really needs to start facing regular opponents before the "You can't wrestle" chants really catch on. I know Daniels is Curry Man but that doesn't count. I also noticed he's added The Rainmaker to his offense.

Mark Henry putting over Big E in a match at Mania 30 would be a nice way for him to go out.

True. I hope he gets a good send-off, though. Obviously it won't be as big a deal as Ric Flair's retirement match with Shawn Michaels, but I do hope Henry gets a "moment" for his retirement, if that's what it will be.

Sure would. It's a shame that it took so many years for him to find this character and now it seems that his career is winding down. :(

- Vince McMahon's "Million Dollar Mania" giveaway, which saw the WWE Chairman give away his personal wealth to Raw viewers for three weeks in 2008, is now considered a misfire by WWE.

The official WWE website is polling fans on the greatest catastrophes in the history of professional wrestling and McMahon's ratings-drawing strategy is listed as an option. Other choices include The Shockmaster's debut, Papa Shango's voodoo curse on Ultimate Warrior, the hiring of Mike Adamle, the Kennel from Hell Match, Sycho Sid speaking on the mic, the lights going out during the May 1996 In Your House 8: Beware of Dog pay-per-view, the Brawl for All tournament, the formation of The Dungeon of Doom, and Scott Steiner speaking on the mic.

- Yahoo! TV UK has published article speculating on The Undertaker's return to WWE airwaves and what his involvement may be. Sam Moore feels the obvious choice involves the Wyatt Family.

"Bray Wyatt proclaims to be controlled by the Devil and it would make perfect sense if The Undertaker was indeed the higher power orchestrating everything," wrote Moore. "The move would not only integrate the deadman into WWE's most interesting storyline but also be a massive boost to The Wyatt Family who desperately need to be made to look as legitimate as possible. This role could also work well for The Undertaker because he wouldn't have to get physical a great deal, just talk and put over some of the younger guys."

:lmao:............How dare they put the Dungeon of Doom on the list! :argh:

The Wyatt's would have been involved with Taker is he was still working part time, without a doubt. In fact Harper could have provided one of taker's best monster opponents IMO. However with his one match a year deal these days it'll be Lesnar at Mania 30 and then either Cena or Reigns at Mania 31.

Taker as the Wyatt's higher power would be awesome. Hopefully Taker would make more appearances, he wouldn't need to wrestle, but an on-screen role.

It could climax with Undertaker vs Daniel Bryan at WM (if they decide to do Punk vs Orton or Punk vs Cena one on one for the main event).

Although I would only want that to happen if Undertaker was giving Bryan the win. Undertaker is one of my all time favorites, but I feel like Bryan getting the win would elevate Bryan more than a WWE title reign would.

Update on Davey Richards' Injury Status

According to The Wrestling Observer, there was legitimate concern that Davey Richards might have injured himself during his NXT match when he was dropped on his head by NXT star Viktor, however Richards was checked out after the bout and was said to have been cleared.

No one had heard anything else about him potentially being injured until he suddenly pulled out of the Pro Wrestling NOAH tour citing an injury. There is speculation that Richards might have pulled out of the Japan tour because of NXT and not an actual injury, however that has not been confirmed.

Wow, you just made me realize something...

Reigns is going to end the Streak. Not next year, but maybe the year after or when Taker retires. That's how his push will culminate.

I'm glad WWE is as fond of Sid as I am lol. The worst guy to hold both major championships during his time.

He had a great look and intensity and... and... and...

Yep.

I hope WWE doesn't put Reigns in the main event right after WrestleMania. I say give him a midcard title run in spring/summer and then start the main event push in the fall ff WWE must do it in 2014.

Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn is engaged to boyfriend PJ Braun, who popped the question after Tuesday night’s SmackDown taping at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut.
Braun, now the president of Prime Nutrition and Blackstone Labs, first noticed Kaitlyn when she was competing on the bodybuilding stage years ago. It was the flower she wore in her hair during her competitions that immediately caught his eye, sticking in his memory when they were formally introduced to one another through a mutual friend. Familiarity blossomed into friendship as the pair became better acquainted via text message, phone calls and FaceTime.
“We always joked that we would probably end up together someday,” Kaitlyn told WWE.com, remarking that busy schedules and personal lives never afforded them the chance to take things to the next level. “We didn’t start dating until this summer, which is funny because he lives in Florida and I was living in Florida for three years. I finally moved back home to Houston, and we started dating shortly after that. We lived a few hours from each other for three years!”
Although Braun ended up asking Kaitlyn for her hand in marriage on Tuesday night at Mohegan Sun, that wasn’t his original strategy.
“He was planning on asking me today [Friday] while we were in New York City, but when he got to Connecticut, he lost the ring in the airport,” Kaitlyn said with a laugh. “So he sits me down in the big suite after SmackDown and we’re laughing and hanging out [with his family] and he’s telling me this ridiculous story about how he lost it and eventually found it. After that, he knew he had to ask me the very next time he saw me. I had no idea it was coming.”
The ring, which Kaitlyn revealed to the WWE Universe on Twitter and Instagram on Thanksgiving, boasts a rare orange chocolate diamond.
“I don’t like normal ‘girly’ things, and PJ knew I wouldn’t want a traditional diamond,” Kaitlyn explained. “He went through a lot to pick the ring out and make it perfect.”
Indeed, Kaitlyn is far from “girly” (her love of unicorns notwithstanding), and one can rest assured that her wedding ceremony will be anything but conventional — whenever she has time to plan it, that is.
“I didn’t think I’d ever get married, so this is all new to me,” Kaitlyn said. “I think I’m going to keep it really simple, because I detest over-the-top and spectacular weddings. And, of course, you know big WWE weddings always end in disaster, so we’ll try to avoid all of that.”

That's a good strategy. His booking would have to be perfect in order to face Taker in 2015. None of the 50/50 strategies that are normally employed.

Agreed. I'm behind Reigns but he's not Brock Lesnar or Kurt Angle level. Sliding into the main event too soon could be a problem.

The last 40 minutes of Smackdown were glorious! 3 matches that just kept the action rolling to a fever pitch by the end. On the commentary side Ambrose had some interesting things to say and Punk's promo earlier along with Cole's subsequent commentary during the main event pushed towards a Punk/Triple H feud.

I also liked Bray's promo earlier in the show, he seems focused fully on Bryan now, and Punk vs The Shield is now happening as was originally planned the night after HIAC.

Wow, you just made me realize something...

Could well be, if I was doing the push and IF he gets over big enough I'd have Reigns with a mid card title run next year leading to him winning the Rumble in 2015 and then the title at Mania 31, the same night Cena fails to end the streak. If things are on course with Reigns by Mania 32 then I'd have him end the streak.

Regardless of if the latter part happens I really hope Reigns gets the oldschool push where his first WWE title comes from a Rumble win and Mania main event Championship victory.

Reigns = a big man that the WWE pushes that doesn't suck. Mark Henry, Brock Lesnar, Kane and Taker are the most notable examples.
