I’m sure most people wouldn’t agree with a lot of my selections (no Tarrantino or Big Trouble) but here are my top 10 favorite Kurt Russell:

I love that list :applaud:applaud:applaud. Nothing compares to Russell, as Wyatt Earp shouting "....and hell's comin with me! AND HELL'S COMIN WITH ME !"

I love Tombstone, it's so OTT, a real guilty pleasure.

Mind you the real star of Executive Decision is Steven Segall, with his best ever acting choice being dying early in the film !

OH WAIT .....
sorry my friend but there's a glaring omission from your list, what IMO is one of Russell's best performances ! ( and no, not Elvis in 1979)

I definitely don't agree with the list and its omission, but instead of chastising you for it I'll simply make my own list as he's one of my favorite actors, as well!

Well then I can’t wait to see it. And thank you for not chastising me for the list! I don’t like Hateful 8. The ending was very disturbing to me and the misogyny was a little ott.

And I almost put Big Trouble instead of Executive Decision on the list, but the truth is, I’ve never liked the fact that the movie goes bat-$&@! crazy in the third act. I know for a lot of people, that’s the charm of it. I just didn’t like that decision even though I see why some do.

Sorry,:O I was being a bit silly when I pointed out that you left BTILC off your list - not intended as "chastising" :oldrazz:.

I respect your opinion, I was really just pointing out what a fan I am of that movie. Personally, I love the third act, which doesn't make much sense but still manages to be entertaining - agree to disagree I guess.

I watched Hateful 8 the other night, and I agree that the misogyny is pretty ott - although Tarantino has been on an upward curve of ott since Kill Bill.

Anyway, again, sorry if you thought I was chastising you it wasn't intended that way.

@Batmannerism No problem my friend! Totally didn’t see it as chastising! I’ve never known it in your character to be rude and you always get the benefit of the doubt from me!

And actually my reply was directed at JKR, but I didn’t see him as chastising either.

Man, I love civilty! I want more of it on the Internet.

I totally forgot that Charleton Heston was in True Lies.

@Dark Raven that’s a good list. I will say there is one film where Heston did not look very good: Bowling for Columbine. Lol. I definitely lean to the left, but even I felt bad for him there.

Charlton Heston was also in one of the Wayne's World movies !

Although the epics, like Ben Hur and 10C are what he'll be remembered for my favourite CH role was in Omega Man - which is an adaptation of "I am Legend" it's not as flashy as the Will Smith version but he has a lot of presence in it

My wife met him once in the early 90s, she's a journalist and he was going into her building for an interview. She said he was very polite and held the door for her, he was very tall and had a beautiful kashmere jacket on. He also made some movies down here in the late 60s

Charlton Heston was also in the short-lived Dynasty spin-off, The Colbys, which only lasted 2 seasons.
