Oh god beware my friends, Zack is planning his attack on WB. He's gonna be wearing the Bat Mech suit and bring the biggest gun there is to attack WB HQ. Look out, for the MurderMan is coming...

“We’ll fight in the shade”

Well at least he's finally starting to talk about the movie. Now hopefully we'll get some answers.

Maybe, this is a sign that there's some hope left for the Snyder Cut somewhere down the line, or maybe I'm reading too much.

No I also thought him breaking his silence might mean something for the Snyder cut

Tinfoil hat comment follows (for those who say there is no Snyder Cut). Have you noticed how none of the actors are allowed to comment on Zack's movie? Specially Henry during an interview I previously posted where he says "I can't talk about that" (something along those lines). There's obviously a clause WB made them sign. It's either to avoid any further negativity while the regular cut is out (clearly not working). Or there is legitimate plans for this but once things have died down and the initial release is out on home video.

I would have to give WB the benefit of the doubt on that second one, and that most certainly ain't happening.

Mind linking me to that Henry Cavill post? Can't seem to find it.

The whole interview is interesting but the part of importance starts at 1min20 into the video:

Seeing the shirt rip gifs in the Cavill thread, I wonder now if Zack's intention was always to end his trilogy with the shirt rip and that's why he only teased it with the "loosening of the tie" in BvS....

Snyder single handedly bombed the entire DCEU, and took some of the most well known characters on the planet, combined them, and made movies that tons of people hated and that all underperformed. The worst thing WB did was let that awful filmmaker lead their DC movies. Shouldn’t have touched anything after Man of Steel, and anyone who greenlit him working on Justice League after BvS should be (and some have from what I hear) been fired off the studio.
Can’t believe how bad he butchered movies with amazing, iconic characters

I'm quite amazed he was able to stay so quiet despite how much WB ruined his movie and trilogy and even the possible tetralogy, more so when he put sooo much work into it.

It's not Snyder's fault. WB should have never chosen him to make these films.

They did and he made the films the way he always made his films. He imho did not deliver a single great movie and they gave him the keys to the kingdom. Then they let him do another one. And halfway through making another one they changed their mind which resulted in embarrassing public spectacle.

Yet another clichéd blame-it-on-Snyder post.

WB should have had the balls to see their darker universe complete its arc. Blame them.

yeah seriously... add "remarkable restraint" to his list of personal qualities :oldrazz:

WB should have the balls to see the universe through, or should've chickened out earlier and replaced Snyder after BvS and delayed JL filming until they completing pre-prod with a new director. What they did was went in half balled. And we got a half balled product.

It never fails that people will rise to the bait of trolls who want to start a fight/debate.

Do you actually think that BvS was something other than ****? You actually think letting him finish JL would have made it somehow a good movie? The dark tone was beside the point, they were just bad movies.

Their first mistake was having Snyder do any of their movies. Their second mistake was having him make BvS.
Their third mistake, which was insane, was having him do JL after BvS was utter garbage that way underperformed at the box office and was rightly rated low.

I'm dropping in as a long term member on the boards because I have an opinion on. It isn't the same as yours, so apparently I shouldn't have posted, is that it?

You're talking about opinions in your second section, but your first section makes it seem like opinion has nothing to do with it and that BvS was objectively bad. I'm confused.

I'm saying that my opinion is backed up by fact. But there are plenty of objectively bad movies that some people still like. You're also free to like Transformers Dark side of the Moon if you like. You'd still be wrong to say it's a good movie, just like it's wrong to imply that Justice League would've been a good movie if WB had just let Snyder finish his "vision".
