Sure. But in this case it seems the needle hasn't been moved on their initial stance. That it was HBO Max who put up the trailer was the surprise for me because I know a lot of people had been hoping that Kilar would champion the rest of the 5 film arc (which always seemed like a bit of a stretch to me) against Sarnoff's wishes.

Fair enough, but since WB is still the source of all this. I personally would just wait either way. Cause they've said a lot of **** that sometimes goes nowhere. That's just the kind of situation they have created.

It seems like them making a public declaration the story is over. That's what it seemed like to me at least. Even the wording in the trailer was basically what Sarnoff said in the interview last month.

Well, they wanted to follow Josstice League (still do as it's the canon), which meant that no references to Zack Snyder's JL, even back then. (pre-Ava)

Which goes to show that their plans haven't changed vis a vis their future course. (post ZSJL)

If it exists I'd like to see it because as I said, I've got no idea what you're referring to with the accusation.

I edited the 2 posts accordingly from the 28th and today as I don't have time to comb through everything for hours. It was a comment I saw before logging in with pages flipping right after did so as noted on the 28th in the Cavill thread so could've been a really old one concerning the Josstice League cut if in fact from you.

The Josstice League cut though I'm not defending so just edited my posts accordingly.

So apparently there were these special Motherbox meal kits that Warner Bros was letting people purchase where they would send you a motherbox replica with a prepared meal inside. The old gods story would have been a nice tie in with ZSJL and WW world. No wonder they canceled it.

It seems WB wants more “cartoony” style, less serious Shazamesk movies moving forward. Makes sense since the Animaniacs are in charge there.

That’s fine. I’ll watch when they come on free TV. I can wait. They won’t be getting my theatrical money Not much of a threat yet... but you wait ! One day when people can actually go to the movies again, it will hurt them to the quick !

I want epic meat when I go to a theater. Not watered down TV style movies.

The messaging on the fate of future projects is fairly clear that as of now, this is it. They continue to advertise this as the completion of his trilogy, and didn't Snyder compliment Netflix by saying no one meddled with his vision or you will see the real film the first time? Not something you say when you are talking more work.
