What happened to JJ Abrams' Justice League Dark ? Wasn't Batgirl cancelled after Joss Whedon left ?

Also, the Flash logo and the Supergirl logo is there for what ? CW series or their movies ? lol.

My guess is that's for all the things they were talking to the investors about, not everything they're working on. As for Zatanna and Batgirl, there's no way to know from that if they're live action or animated.

DC is doing with the JLD and what Netflix did the Defenders, multiple series leading up to a team up. Zatanna is apparently an HBO Max series, along with the Constantine one and possibly even Swamp Thing.

I’m looking forward to that and the Blue Beetle/Static movies

well jj Abrams produced jl dark franchise includes potentially movies and series. With Constantine and now zatanna series strongly rumoured or confirmed. Batgirl last we heard was being written by birds of prey and flashpoint writer.

The main they need to learn from BOP’s misstep is to let the freakin characters be their full potential.

Don’t introduce a character like the Renee and not let her be the Question. Let the Black Canary use her cry several times.

Zatanna has a cool costume for cosplay and fangirls love deep mythology and supernatural stuff. Just lean into it.

Etrigan needs to be in this.

I've actually thought Zatanna would be a great character for a TV series for a while, though I had more been imagining a CW spinoff. Yes, she doesn't have a bajillion of her own comics, but she has a solid premise ( stage magician except actual magician ), a reasonably budget-friendly power set, and you can raid the generally underused DC mystical world for characters and stories.

I really hope this film is populated with a lot of other magical heroes and villains. If it’s just Zatanna rescuing her father from some obligatory origin story villain, count me out.

I feel like it’s going to be the Armas lady.

She’s got that same, Hathaway/Adams thing we’re her name comes up for every project and is in a lot of major studio pictures.

I was watching the underrated The Crow: City of Angels last night and was struck by how much Mia Kirshner in that movie reminded me of Ana De Armas.
