Yup it will pass Logan this weekend. Likely it did on Friday, certainly after today. Deadline has it doing as expected, around $12.8 million, putting it in the 277-278 range. Falls to 4th tho with a big Oceans 8 opening and a strong showing by Hereditary.

Dropped 55%, which is a good hold considering Jurassic World 2 opened in 48 markets this weekend.

So it's only a matter of time before it hits $300M domestic, and $700M worldwide shouldn't be a problem either. Some very nice milestones to hit, especially with its relatively low budget, and without the help of China.

It's still a great success and a HUGE achievement (it had an R-rating and being a comedy sequel going against it... while going up against some huge juggernauts such as Avengers and Star Wars).

Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 2 had a similar drop compared to the original.
