I think Fury is tired of all the red tape involved in making fights happen

Could be, but if I were Fury, I'd throw that out there because I know those promoters want a payday and I'm sending a message, even if it isn't entirely true, that I don't care. That gets me more $$$$ and less BS. Y'know, a higher quality of S*** Sandwich.

Hafthor vs Eddie
"Titan Belt"

What a great fight between 2 strongmen/amateur boxers, better than certain professional fights i've seen. Plenty of animosity, drama, knockdowns... All in a all a solid watch, Eddie surprised me with how much damage he was able to soak and how much of a fight he put, until he inevitably gassed... he still manage to take down Thor twice in the beginning and towards the latter rounds and very end he was still somewhat dangerous with those wild and powerful ale Mary's which prevented Thor from risking too much.

Thor on the other hand showed that technically he was simply better, he struggle to cope with the early sting from Eddie's punches who was effectively countering, but then gradually and naturally settled in and landed some heavy bombs of his own that among other things knocked Eddie twice. Thor also worked, as a boxer, behind the jab which kept on peppering Eddie on the cuts on both eyes. In the end he naturally won the fight.

Hats off to both, i would gladly watch a rematch but if they aren't up to it at least they seem to end things on a better note than the one they began and semi settled some of their beef.

Errol said he coming for that belt.

Yeah, this was much better than other ā€œgimmickā€ matches I’ve watched. They both really went for it.

Errol Spence is putting on a clinic!

Been calling this for years but he's going to make Crawford look ordinary IMO.

Crawford starts really slow and he's used to having space to operate. Spence will be all over him, smothering his offense and scoring at the same time. On the inside I don't think anybody in boxing but Canelo has a comparable body attack. He's been in with better competition by far and he's a naturally bigger guy on top of it. I just think it's gonna be a long night...

I have said the same thing. When Errol fights Bud he is going to make it look way easier than people can imagine. Bud is looking good against inferior competition while Errol has been taking out other champions. I really didn't expect Errol to beat Ugas the way he did. I really though Ugas would box Errol way better than he did but I think Errol broke his ribs around the 5th round because Ugas was scared to move that right hand off of his side after that. We all know Bud has a suspect chin but I just don't see this fight being to competitive TBH. I think it's going to be a complete letdown because I can really see Errol walking Bud down.

Crawford also has this thing where he has to react any time he gets hit. He smiles, or sticks his tongue out or shakes his head or...something. He better tuck that away in somewhere, because he's going to get hit. A lot more than he's used to.

Whyte Fury main event starting soon.

Was going to post that Fury was winning all the opening rounds and then Fury just took Whyte out with a big right uppercut.

i thought fury was carrying him i thought he could have KO;d whenever he desired

Caught the replay earlier, Fury battered him. As @chamber-music said, he had way too much reach & was able to touch Whyte at a range in which he couldn't fire back, looked a few classes above Whyte.

Fury had too much reach for white.
Yep, Whyte didn't have the skills to close the distance at all. Very one-sided fight. Fury would have won by a mile on points (pretty much every round) without the KO.

Well he is a few classes above him lol. Whyte has good power and is a brave fighter but he isn't champion level. He'd need a duff champion to be able to get a belt off them or get lucky with a haymaker. Some of the misses against Fury were spectacular lol.

I would pick Spence for sure, but he can get tagged. He's a really impressive fighter, but if you are going to be that aggressive, you are going to take a shot here and there. Crawford can flat out hit and is probably a better boxer than he's generally given credit for. Spence could lose if he gets tagged.
