What is your job? I work in Marketing & Communications at a hospital. I currently coordinate three community outreach programs within the medical center and am also involved in various PR projects as well as doing a good bit of writing and editing for my team members. It's very difficult to describe my job because I end up doing so much outside of my job description.
Do you have a car? What kind? (Pics a plus) 2004 red Hyundai Elantra. Nothing exciting, but it gets me where I need to go.
If you were a pro athlete, what would be your intro song? I don't watch sports, so I'm going to choose a stripper song, instead. "Fever" as covered by Beyonce or "Pour Some Sugar On Me" if it was an older crowd

any superstitions? Hrm. I'm not sure if this would be considered a superstition, but I believe in spirits - both good and bad. So, films like Paranormal Activity freak me out because I do believe in demons.

Have you ever met anyone from the Hype in real life? Yes, I've met JustABill and Specter313, as well as Mr. Terrific and Cunning Stunts. I've hung out with Billy and Spec on multiple occasions.

What brought you to the Hype? When I first started dating Spoons, I saw him on this site ALL of the time, and asked him what the heck he was always doing. I was intrigued and also experimenting with comics, so I joined.
What keeps you here? entertainment value...which has lessened considerably. At this point, I post when I'm super bored or just because I've made friends here that I like to keep in touch with.

What is your Hype Pet Peeve? When people post in the Lounge only to say things such as "Hi" and "Bye" and "Good morning Loungers!" - that's my long-term peeve. New one is how as a lady, it has become extremely difficult to post in any thread that involves fanboys because they pounce on whatever I have to say and belittle it. It doesn't matter that 10 other people will have said the same thing as me, they attack only mine. I don't catch feelings but good lord it's obnoxious. I've stopped bothering posting much as a result.
What SHH event (that you not necessarily had to be a part in) has given you the most enjoyment? I loved the classic deathmatches and the awards.

why am i your favorite? Because even though it's online, you are similar to my close "real life" friends in that I feel I can be open and honest/trust you, and even if we don't have a chance to talk for a while, when we do catch up it's as if no time had even passed

How would compare SHH from when you joined to now? It was very active with regular members when I joined, and I can remember rushing through activities to get to a computer to continue a conversation. And there would be many pages of missed posts within an hour. Now, there aren't as many interesting posters and the conversation quality has declined big time. Not as much fun, for sure.

Are you active in politics, and if so, who do you affiliate with? I am not active in politics as they frustrate the hell out of me. I consider myself to be very liberal, but that certainly doesn't mean I agree with all Democratic policies. I vote Democrat at election time, however.

Pickles, I'm jealous that you met Spec. Cool dude. He's a wonderful guy; been a really good friend to Spoons and I. And he's a damn good cook!

What are reading these days, comics wise? Are you getting anything from the DC relaunch? I haven't picked up individual issues of comics in forever. I couldn't keep up with them, and it got frustrating trying to make sure I was also reading all of the tie-ins, and some of my favorite books were really going down hill. Right now, if I hear of an interesting event, I wait until it's over and then either get the hardcover or if Spoons has the issues, I'll read all of them. I'm also really into independent stand alone stories...I love Mouse Guard and I just picked up the first volume of a cool looking little story at Baltimore Comic Con called "The Stuff of Legend." Also saw this zombie graphic novel called "The Awakening" that looks great.

I never read DC books (unless you count some Vertigo titles), but the re-launch is intriguing. I may give a few titles a try.

What's your most anticipated film for the year? Can I skip ahead to 2012? I'm dying for The Hobbit film to come out!

Current television addictions? True Blood, Project Runway, the new Thundercats cartoon...and guilty pleasures Degrassi and Jersey Shore
