So when did you last play golf?

Hey Ahura, long time no see.

I don't play golf actually. There are quite a few courses around and a couple of nice ones but I have enough aggravation in my life that I don't need to add to it. I would much rather play some basketball if I get a chance.

I can't complain I have money in the bank, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, and my family is healthy. Anything more than that is gravy. I have learned to be happy with my life rather than always desiring the next best thing. Sure I have ambition to improve myself and family but there is a difference between that and being obsessed with a bigger home, more money, more power, more toys, etc.

What is the coldest air temperature that you remember in Canada?

I have experienced many times of -30 to -40 degrees celsius without the windchill. That is your standard winter weather in Canada but it can dip lower than that on occasion. Including the windchill I have seen it below -40 degrees. This usually results with schools and businesses closing for the day and everyone staying inside.

A person I know from Newfoundland said with the windchill it would creep to below -50 at times.

I know the official coldest days ever on record are even lower than this but this is from experience.

Are you an outdoorsy person?

Oh yeah, I love camping which I try to do at least a couple times each year. I mean real camping in a tent and sleeping bags, none of that camper trailer so-called camping.

I grew up in the country, and we had a farm with cows, horses, goats and pigs. We also lived within 100 feet from the water so my back yard was a farm, and my front yard was a beach. I spent all my time outside fishing, collecting shells and crabs, walking in the woods and observing animals and bugs. We only had this small little B&W TV until I was into my teens and we only had two channels so I wasn't inside much.

My city also has a lot of walking trails through the woods, parks, and by the river so I try to walk on them as often as I can
