I think they'll need to get someone at the deadline to have a better shot.

I think a salary floor would be better.

Your thoughts on possible rule changes on baserunners "bulldozing" the catcher/s??
I think catchers should be more willing to yield the plate if they don't have the ball. Posey was in a bad position and shouldn't have gone back to tag him. Personally, I think they should address the guys who try to take out the middle infielders covering 2nd.

They haven't been good enough. Bad breaks when they were close.

I don't believe it existed, just a coincidence with the fact that the Red Sox struggled and the Yankees prospered.

If they were brought here from a time machine and pitched today, probably not because hitters can see video and more familiarity with different types of pitches (I recall players wanting the change-up being banned). If they were raised in this area, I don't know.
