Everyone knew it and everyone said it. Free throws would hurt them eventually down the stretch in a close game. It doesn't matter who you foul on that team they don't hit them under pressure. If the guards can't hit them you are screwed. In tournament time, there will be tight games as the competition intensifies and free throws are HUGE.As good a team as Memphis is, until they can shoot from the foul line better they are going to struggle to beat the better teams in the nation. Sure they can hang with anyone, but in a tight game like last night when they're only shooting 58% or worse from the charity stripe they're going to lose.
