Spartans got a 3-star safety, top-60 in the position, to commit earlier today.

The guys at the MSU forums are pretty hyped

whats the guys name?

UGA is still a solid #2 in the nation rating in recruiting

Eh, I don't really follow recruiting that closely. Obviously, it's important. But I'm not gonna piss my pants in joy if USC signs the number one player in the nation.

Boston's amazingly odd sports success is bound to come to an end :yellow:
It is a tad askew.

Even the New England Revolution made the finals. :csad:

If it makes you feel any better - Mich St. is ranked 42nd.

UCF is...52.

Meh, its not where you rank in talent, its what you do with them. I mean look at Bill Callahan in Nebraska. He had a top 15 recruiting class nearly every year he was here, and he sucked because he didn't develop them. Meanwhile Tom Osborne would consistantly rank in the 20s in recruiting classes, but he deveolped the hell out of his guys and they were good.

Recruiting is important, but nothing is more important than helping that talent grow

Borrow this, rdh. From the MSU forum :o

Oh God. I'm watching the Citrus Bowl from 2000 (MSU 40, FLA 37) on ESPN Classic.

And they're playing the part where they're interviewing Nick Saban on the phone, right after he bolted for LSU. :down

rdh, you're gonna be a happy man.

Your prayer has come true.

BREAKING NEWS from ESPN: Michigan hires Rich Rodriguez.

Finally something concrete and not a bad hire to boot. I've never believed West V to be the fringe national title contender they've been made to be over the past few years, but Rodriguez's teams have been well coached and catered to his player's strengths.

Does this mean the spread offense will be making its way to Ann Arbor at some point?
Me likey. There needs to be an infusion of more athleticism.

This news makes Jean-Claude dance...

First Beilein , now Richie Rich. Michigan is going after West V's lacrosse coach next. :o

Thanks Fran! I'm waaaaaaaaay too excited over this news. This is better than I'd hoped for only days ago.
