I'll wait until USF establishes some consistency and becomes a perennial contender before I even think about putting them in the same league with Miami, FSU and Florida.

One could argue USF has been more consistent the past three years than FSU or Miami.

USF is a good team, and now the haters come and will say "Well they will lose against Rutgers/Louisville". Well, so what. They havent lost yet, and shown that they are a dominant team.

Not to bring it up, Norman, but they manhandled arguably the best back in the nation in Kevin Smith. Gotta give it up to them for that.

Well, UCF has been playing pretty damn well considering their competition. They scared the crap outta UT. I have alot of friends who go to UT, and they said that they were more afraid in that game of losing than they were until the 4th quarter of the OU game.

UCF's lack of passing game sure as hell helped. Needless to say, though, USF's defense can run with anyone.

If UCF didn't completely destroy itself in the first half with stupid penalty after stupid turnover - that game would of been competitive (with USF).

Of course that didnt happen and we saw the result.

All I have to say is that was my game to keep an eye on last Saturday, and I live in Texas. That should show you that UCF is rising. Granted, I really wanted to see Smith just kill everyone, but USF played a good game.

Even without penalties and turnovers, they probably still would've raped. 64-12, man. That's not even mildly tragic. :(

All I have to say, Norman, is that atleast you dont have an Appalachian State kind of loss on your schedule. Despite now being 25, its kind of a blemish on your record.

Herbstreit and Corso will probably choke and die this week, seeing Ohio State at #1.

Well, according to them, USC is still a top ten team. Corso thinks they are number 1.

True. But, if USC isn't in the top ten..Corso will grudgingly admit to giving the Buckeyes a #1 ranking. ESPN wants OSU in the title game so bad.

I saw a bit of Alabama/Ole Miss on Saturday..during a press break they spoke with Coach Ed O.

Other than "offense" and "settle down", I still didn't understand a word the man said.

After that POS start; Michigan is back in top 25.

If there was an mvp for the ncaa; Hart would be a lock.

God I hope we beat them.

:D that followed by pats/colts will make it one helluva football weekend :D
