Mystique becomes kick ass?? really? i think its safe to say that EVERYONE has had their fill of Mystique. its time for her to fade away for a long while. the movies have come and gone and since they were the source of her rise in popularity....it should only reflect in the books that she go away

First, maybe he'll into as much as a man as Rogue and tame her
other than that, it'd be fun to watch what else theyd make up for their relationship, i think its not quite resolved it, I'm not satisfied

i think its safe to say that EVERYONE has had their fill of Mystique. its time for her to fade away for a long while.

second, I hope she becomes a kick ass character in x-titles

1) Storm evolves to her full potential for one major story arc and ultimately destroys the PF to save the multi-verse.

2) The Inner Circle reconstitutes. Selene, Emma, Blackheart, Sinister (as the White King).

3) Let Storm star in 3 books: Black Panther, Uncanny X-Men with a membership of Storm, Kitty, Thunderbird 2, Nightcrawler, and Gambit written by CC, and she and BP also become members of a New Defenders Team including Namor, Valkerie (spelling may be off), Spiderman, and Moondragon.

4) Apacolypse regains his classic status and beats Magneto senseless effortlessly.

5) Selene vs. Sinister.

i agree that hellfire should come back in a MAJOR badass way....and hopefully sans Sunspot who needs to join the X-men

4. Either get rid of Astonishing or include it with the rest of the world

I kinda love Cyclops using Wolverine as a gun, granted his targets are like the Purifiers and Mystique and actually SHOULD be gotten rid of.

Like MAgneto who died and neve came back... no wait... like Sinister, who died at the end of Inferno and... ah no... Like Bastion! Who was completely destroyed by Warlock and the Avengers and then never ever... ah crap... like Apocalypse? nah, Sauron? nope... Sebastian Shaw! He died and... na he also returned... damn, those villains just can't stay dead can't they?? They're almost as worse as the heroes...

Why do people want Emma to become a villain again? She hasn't been one since the early/mid-90s.

emma as a villain would be a waste of characterization - it is exactly the type of lazy thing i would expect from marvel - the company that brought us brand new day

Emma as a villain would be redundant and a dis-service to the character building she's gotten since those days. But, having her sleep her way into headmistress of the X-men is just wrong, on several levels. Why don't they just have her resume her position as the head of a separate (non-evil) mutant academy?

Emma didn't really sleep her way into being headmistress, though. Back during Morrison's run, Charles, Jean, and Emma (in that order) were the three head figures, when it came to the students. And this was before her relationship with Scott became known. When Charles went on sabbatical and Jean died, Emma just became the headmistress by default.

Knocking boots with Scott did, however, give her command over the troops. Not that anyone listens to her unless Scott is around.

Why do people want Emma to become a villain again? She hasn't been one since the early/mid-90s.

I have issues with the White Queen of the Hellfire Club as a heroic character. I confess - I have read very. very little GENERATION X so I don't know how gradual her change in personality was, but her actions as White Queen should have made her irredeemable. Also, I want her as far away from Scott as possible.

even though im not crazy about the couple, id be lying if i said i didnt find them interesting. with what Whedon has been doing in Astonishing, and the last issue of Uncanny, emma has been slowly climbing up my listen of favorite x-men.

All I want is for the "Young X-Men" to die on their first mission...all but Dust. And then the book changes to her finding her old X-mates and they seek revenge. Dust, Elixir, Mercury, Sage, and Anole. And the first arc ends with the resurrection of WALLFLOWER!
