I expected the Longhorns to administer a beating too. Thought the prowess on offense would be too much for Ohio State to keep up with, but they did well in slowing UT down. Much better game than I imagined.

So close indeed. My prediciton of OSU by 4 was about one foot short. That 4th down they converted was really close. Good game nonetheless.

Go Florida, the only game i actually bet on

Great game by both OSU and Texas. I felt most people predicted Texas big over OSU, it was nice to see Ohio State step up and play the way many believe OSU is capable of doing.
I hope in a small way OSU's reputation is build back up, even a little, there is alot of talent there and Pryor is still raw, but looks great even as a freshman.

OSU didnt earn much reputation back. UT just proved they arent championship caliber.

OSU is good just not elite.

Pryor is however going to be great next year.

They only thing is that OSU team is losing a lot of starters so they may have a tough road ahead.

In my mind OSU got some respect back, since for 2 weeks all I've heard is OSU has no chance, Texas will win by 20 or more. For OSU to go out and play that well, speaks volumes about the program.
Maybe Texas didn't play to their talent and OSU played above their talent, but Texas had no real answer on Defense for OSU's run game, they had not seen a run offense that strong in a long time.

I didnt see the whole game, my power went out and came back on with like 3 minutes left in the game. (great timing) but still.

But OSU played a really good game best all year and still came up short.

Also UT showed its weakness. UT was overrated like i said before the game.

So think what you will but big ten still sucks.

Tell me about the Utah game, I'm a Tide fan and that sucked, talk about over-rated,lol. Sorry about you electricity, I know how that is, during the summer we lost power for 5 days due to a wind storm in June.
I wouldn't say the Big Ten sucks as much as their talent level isn't as good as the SEC, I still beleive head to head the Big Ten is better than the ACC, Big East, Pac-Ten and a couple others, its just hard to compete with warm weather conferences like the SEC. The Big Ten has quality teams like Penn State and Ohio State, they just can't attract the amount of talent the SEC can.

I'm glad Texas won, if only because it spared us the idiocy of hearing Kirk Herbstreit backstep and change his views on who the "champion" should be. Wouldn't surprise me though, it's the same thing he's done for the past few years.

I will say that I was rather amused by all of the mullets shown in the audience and on the players of Texas.

Weird. According to reports around these parts, Lane Kiffin seems to be more concerned with the state of Georgia than he is Tennessee. First he attempted to get Aaron Murray to switch his commitment, and go to UT. Not happening.
Then he tries to get our recruiting co-ordinator to join him. Again, didn't happen.

Thats weird your the first person I've ever heard from who has critized Herbstreit, most people I've spoken with find him informative and knowledgible, the guy I can't stand on ESPN is Mark May, that guy rubs me the wrong way.

An administrator on Rivals Georgia Football Premium Forum has announced Stafford will enter the NFL Draft.

Knowshon Moreno has not signed an agent to date.
