Some of those strikes are way off lmao

It's like were studying a bunch of electrons and stuff lol.

As you can see, there is significant overlap. While umpires are pretty good at judging the high end of the strike zone, they are absolutely dreadful at judging the bottom and the sides, especially the third base side. Overall, 9.1% of pitches that were called balls were inside of the strike zone, and 21.7% of pitches that were called strikes were outside of the strike zone. I find that second figure outstanding, especially given that I am already giving the umps a pretty lenient strike zone.

I never saw the Cardinals on TV growing up. It was always the AFC west with the Chargers, Broncos ect.

Hey hey now. Regardless of what the owner of my team chooses to call them, I do not actually live in LA. I feel that is an important distinction to make.

Yankees, Red Sox, Phillies, Cardinals, Angels ???

Well, I think if the Yankees win...They become the team of the decade...If they lose the Series, as a Yankees fan let me say the Red Sox will be the team of the decade.

Yankees:
2000: Champs
2001: AL Champs
2002: AL East Champs
2003: AL Champs
2004: Division Champs
2005-2007: Made the playoffs winning the division twice
2009: AL Champs and *crossing fingers for more*

Red Sox:
2003: Made ALCS
2004: World Series Champs
2005: Made postseason
2006: Missed postseason
2007: World Series Champs
2008: Made ALCS
2009: Lost in DS

This question's not as easy as last decade where it was either Yanks or Braves, with Yanks winning out.

If the Yankees win out it's them because they will have been 2/4 this decade. If they don't win it gets harder because if the Phillies win they'll be against the Red Sox, and the Phillies will have gone back to back, So i'm conflicted with that.

okay I changed my mind. If the Yankees don't it'll be Boston because they've been to more LCS than the Phillies. But if the Yankees win they'll have won the same amount as Boston but will have been to more World Series.

If the Yanks lose, then you have to go with the Sox. The pressure of winning one finally, beating the yanks the way they did in 2004 and going 8-0 in the World Series...Now this is only if the Yanks lose.

Their record wasn't the best this decade. The Angels played poorly. Their IF isn't the best in ML history.

Exactly. No team was a bigger story than the 2004 Red Sox. What they did will never be done again. Even if it is, that Red Sox team will always be the one that did it first.
