You can't seriously try to make the case Major Applewhite was a better college QB. You also can't seriously be comparing them.

Major Applewhite envied Jeff Garcia's arm strength.

I am not sure if Vince Young has it mentally to be an NFL QB, but I am not dismissing him yet.

doesn't Applewhite hold most of the QB stat records at Texas?? I only bring him up because they both played there

I agree with you...I don't think Young has the mental discipline or toughness for the job

Billick was the OC of arguably the best offense ever

#1, 2007 Patriots were better. That said, how hard is it when you can just bomb it to Randy for a touchdown (or pass interfence) pretty much whenever you want to? All thats required is the QB making a half decent throw and not under throwing him (i.e not the duck Cunningham fired to a wide open Moss deep during overtime in the NFC Championship game which eventually lost). I mean come on, just check the highlights of Moss during his rookie year.

Yall want to tell em this is "play calling"?

When you have a player who can out run, jump, and position every corner in the NFL, it is not hard to put up a ton of points.

Billick, imo, is the last impressive coach on that list.

You're the king of YT links

No better way to judge football than through its tape.

Excel why the hell did they bench Thomas?

Hes been one of their worst defenders this season and is the highest paid outside, I believe.

Dunno what the deal is, he looked excellent last season and before the year started. They should give him Derrick Burgess's position, Thomas is an excellent pass rusher has been incoverage mostly this season.

that would be nice

I think Jags to L.A. might work, and it is one of the teams that the Majestic rep had said might relocate for a new stadium. As for **** up the alignment, well isn't Rams still with the NFC West? I don't think NFL will have a problem with that.

Jags playing in LA will benefit them...LA will appreciate them more then JAcksonville and also Jags orginazation will make more money since its a bigger market city...And with a new head coach the Jags could be Super Bowl contenders....LA deserves a 4th chance anyways...All they need is a stadium.

Jags are the least high profile team around; theyll need to add a star before making any sort of move. Adding Dez Bryant in this years draft would cert. help.

Once they clear the legal hurdles from the lawsuits, the stadium will be greenlighted for construction. But Majestic rep said the construction will not begin until they have secured a team to come here, since it will be privately funded and they won't do it unless they are sure a football team will occupy it. One potential problem is that the Majestic owner (who'll be shouldering most of the funding) wants a percentage of that football team, in exchange for the stadium. I think it's a fair exchange, but we'll see how that goes.

Major Applewhite failed at life the day he was named Major Applewhite.

4th chance? LA...Los ****ing Angeles had a NFL team 3...3...3...times already? ....Um....by that logic and history, there's little reason to have another NFL team there. Sorry, 3 ****ing strikes and you're out.

Now if they were to...get a new stadium that's for NFL only or like NFL/US Soccer, then maybe...

That's a punk move. It's like getting beat up by a bully, then cheering out of some sense of vindication when someone kicks the bully's ass next week after 3rd period. Shut your mouth, Seymour.

I also hear he guaranteed a playoff berth for Oakland this year. The Hammer should make him forfeit his salary if when he's wrong. These supposed 'guarantees' get on my nerves.

I guarantee that Fresh Prince will annoy the **** out of us for the rest of the season

Well, St Louis has issues too. Maybe send them back to L.A and put the Jags in St. Louis. Never gonna happen, but I don't like the travel there with Tenn. and Indy. St Louis in the West is pretty bad but KC is not much further West either. The one market I have a problem with is Jacksonville but I don't see where else they can go in the south. Maybe pull a Seattle Sonics and go to Oklahoma City or something.

No I was saying since Jacksonville has problems with fans wanting to come to the games maybe LA fans might support a team better then Jacksonville and they will make more money...Its a good buisness move...But LA has to get a stadium.

I'm not trying to annoy anyone, I'm just giving suggestions...Sorry that I do that.

how about you actually read other peoples posts instead of just rambling....LA has had 3 chances to support and NFL team and have failed.....there is no fallible reason they should get another NFL team there....

a part of the issue is that if whatever team thats there starts to suck, people will just go to Lakers games or go see USC or the bajilliion other things to do in LA besides going to see a **** NFL team

When teams suck most fans tend to not show up anyways....And they obviously interested since they want o build a stadium and get a team...Fans will still show up at the game may not be sell outs but not all are.
