Can Shaun Hill even throw the long ball? I know I haven't seen a whole lot of Lions games recently, but I can't think of any deep bombs thrown for the Lions in highlights.

Hill was actually doing fairly well in his time before injury.

You're still making him out to be a game-changer. I didn't see that in NE or Min and don't expect to see it with the Titans.

1) You didn't see the one hander over Revis?
2) You didn't see how well Harvin did with him/how poorly Welker and Brady are doing with out him? Bess would put up Welker esque numbers.
3) You did not see because the offense coordinating of both teams were crazy inept. Moss wont get open against deep double coverage on his own-never has. Now, incorporate play action...and this is what happens (from August)

^pretty sure my boy effortlessly streaks right through the double coverage. Moss still has "If I am even, I am leaving" speed. Hell, if they dont react 2-3 steps EARLY, they're beat.

There's a reason only one team put in a waiver claim.

Because they're stupid? They're teams with horrible records, caused by poor coaches and decision making...passing on Moss is just them being themselves.

When stank ass attitude

There isnt a soul on the pats or vikes who agree.

In fact, calling Kraft for being cheap with vets, and Chily for being a dumbass, has reportedly only strengthened their bond. Wilfork, a captain and respected leader, cried when Moss left. Brady clearly wasnt thrilled. Percy Harvin threatened to fight Brad Childress.

What a stank ass attitude he surely has.

This type of attitude is why the Dolphins, and so many other teams, cant get over the hump.

You clearly dont understand how well Bess and Marshall would do against the types of defenses played against Moss. FYI. Henne sure as hell wouldnt be getting benched. And if the defenses adjust...Randy will still embarrass any 1 on 1 he sees:

Moss is a natural. Those dont just die, skill wise. Remember when people thought T.O. was done? :cwink:

I know he's been doing alright, I've seen him statistically. It was an honest question because I haven't really SEEN him play much.

Can he throw the long ball?

He can. Threw a few to Calvin Johnson.

Excel, that one-hander is the only ****ing thing he's done this year

Stop comparing Moss to the second coming, and GET OVER IT

Rams are back in action and poised to make a HUGE step for the division this weekend! Im so stoked but then i look at our receiving corps and frown because all we needed was Moss and he would have essentially been a rental this year. sigh.....

I'm glad the Rams are 4-4 and Moss would've definitely been an upgrade, but I must applaud the Rams for not taking him.

I think they made a bigger statement. They're not going to take risks with guys with attitude problems like T.O. They care more about keeping that chemistry in the locker in order to win and developing talent than taking in big name players. This team is a lot tougher than in the past few years. Other than that Detroit game they're playing much tougher, and that whole team is believing they can win again.

Bradford's gonna be a great quarterback and hopefully Jackson has a few more good seasons in him. Spags is doing a great job developing Laurenitis and the defense also. The Rams have their future offensive and defensive leaders in place. They'll be a threat in the coming years, especially when Bradford gets a consistent, non-injury prone #1 receiver.

With that said, they easily go from 4-4 to 6-10 this season with their schedule coming up. :csad:

I can remember that 87 yard touchdown reception he got... the Lions were on their 13 and that was a pretty big one i guess. Just had another look at it. That's the only one I can remember.

I'm just saying you need a heavy arm to make decent use of Moss, otherwise he becomes more of a distraction and a liability and less of an asset.

Even when Moss isn't with the Patriots, Ex still writes a college thesis on him

I remember watching a 20/20 special and when they do autopsies on some of these NFL players and disect their brains, there is just so much damage they incur.

So, how about some new NFL nicknames, guys?

Matthew StaffIRd

Randy "3 Teams in 2 Months" Moss

Shawne "Injured Stubbing Big Toe" Merriman

Rex "2 Minutes & Drilled" Grossman

Donovan "Cardiovascular Endurance" McNabb

Mike Shanazorn

Wade "What Took You So Long, Jerry?" Phillips

Also, BlackLantern, love the sig. Was norm actually defending those pigs? F**k sake.

Jimmy Clausen starting for Carolina...

And my parents DVR may have an error during recording it. I hope Clausen can lead Carolina to a win, but I rather see Pike start. Or Edwards in a option offense.

Falcons/Ravens on tonight.and my provider doesn't freakin carry NFL Network.

Someone will suffer.

If you live in either the Atlanta or Baltimore area, they have to put it on local tv. Don't you live in Atlanta?

That Jets logo is especially entertaining and accurate. :o

They nailed the Broncos as well.

Game's on in a few and I'm with Ray, this is BS.
