So other basketball players like another basketball player? Awesome.

I don't hate Lin at all.

I believe years of mediocrity and failure has Poeman chomping at the bit for any sign of progress with his team of choice.

Essentially, he's gonna run this into the ground. Best to ignore it, or at least find the humor in it. :o

Which is why I'm not all rah rah, it's the Knicks time now.

I only fall for the banana in the tail pipe once.

Ha! Nice. :o

Maybe you N.Y. fans should talk to him about it. He keeps it up, he's bound to jinx em. Lin could break his leg in 52 places tonight and his career is over, all thanks to Poeman bringing down the bad juju with his incessant "Look-at-me!"ism. Which would suck, cuz I think Lin's kinda awesome. :(

Yes blame me for the bad juju on Lin.

The whole damn world is not hyping the kid up. Just me.

It's been a decade since I have been this happy for a knicks team winning this way.

I really don't have any great hatred against either the Knicks. Except for their attempt to buy wins by getting Melo and Stat rather than doing it the right way through good coaching and drafting.

But Lin's no big name, arrogant player who was brought on just to win games. He's a self made guy right now, and that's cool. Whether he'll still be this good at the end of the season or next, I have no clue. But I wish him well.

Yeah, well, keep it in your pants. :o

I'm sorry. "Juju"?

He does realize he gets made fun of simply because of who he is, right?

If I am getting made fun of for going nuts over a guy who has outperformed over every player in the history of the NBA in their first 3 starts, in fact since the ABA/NBA merger then well...it's fine by me.

He is taking scrubs on his back to victories.

Oh, I'm pretty sure people will make fun of you no matter the topic.

Like with most things, it's not what you say, it's how you say it. :o

Is that in any way related to JuJuFruits?... because those things are terrible.

I sense a marketing scheme.

If the Sixers could get that one missing piece, and thusly be good enough to get there...It would be a pretty awesome series. It would be pure, unadulterated basketball. Not "hey look, that guy is tall and has muscles, so he'll do well." :o

Yeah games in a series like that would be fun to watch.

Celtics are good but older and most of the time, those teams do well in the regular season. I can see them being the #5 team. Orlando could be good if Dwight would just play and stop moaning. Here's my top 8 in the east or how it plays out:
1) Bulls
2) Miami
3) Indiana
4) Hawks
5) Boston
6) Orlando
7) Knicks(mark my words, they'll be here or higher)
8) 76ers

Wow... That would take a huge slump on the part of the 76ers there...

I can't see the 76ers sliding to 8th. With their youth and the fact that they've been constructed in a very well-rounded fashion they should be in a better position to handle the compressed season than a lot of the teams you've ranked above them.

Also, Dwight Howard has been balling for quite a few weeks now, he came in disinterested but I thin he's realized that if he doesn't put SOME effort in his value will drop.

I would be happy if the 76ers make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs.

76ers destiny lies with seeding and who they'll play. I could see them getting through the first round, the second round there's less hope for them though since they'd likely be playing one of the Heat or Bulls.

If they play the Bulls I don't think they'd get swept though... I'd love to see a 76ers/Pacers series, but I don't think it'll happen unless one of the two falls off in a hurry and it becomes a first round match-up.

I could see the Sixers and Pacers playing in the first round as 4/5 seeds.

I don't think Dwight is worry that his value will drop. Even if he has a subpar season he'd still be the #1 center in the NBA. Bynum will not surpass him.
