He really should. Even if he did sign with a team, he'd probably just be sitting on the bench for the remainder of the season. And next season.

If he keeps in shape the Lakers would re-sign him next year.

Yes, Jalen Rose does suck at commentating. So glad Shaq called him out. He was on the level of Bill Walton-sucking.

Without CP3, Clippers would've lost all these close games for sure. If he doesn't sign to a long-term contract after next season the team will be in trouble.

To me he should easily be the MVP, just from saving their neck repeatedly and turning the Clippers of all teams into a potential threat. I understand Durant & Lebron having great seasons but its questionable if they're even the leaders of their own teams, either by willingly submitting in the 4th or being forced to by a PG who seems to not respect you.

On the flipside, they lose a couple of games, and everybody should be dragged out into the street and strung up by their testicles. Ah New York.

Its ridiculous. The Knicks went through the toughest stretch of their schedule when they lost those games. Virtually all playoff teams they faced, with almost every game on the road, they would've lost no matter who the coach was. Likewise during "Linsanity" almost every team was either terrible or mediocre that they beat. It's not rocket science...

Uhhhhhhhhhhh no Doc. I think had anyone coached them, including Spoelstra who I think is a generic coach, except Dantoni, I think they would be better than what they are. Dantoni had no f-ing plays whatsoever, just let Lin run wild and free and if you get lucky, he'd turn piss into wine but most of the time that wasn't the case. There was no accountability, no effort and no passion which I say falls back on the coach. I said when they hired him, it was a horrible hire.

Well, when the team gave up 24 turnovers and Kobe went 3 for 20 shot attempts, the Lakers won't win no matter what. I think the team will readjust themselves in the next game, but this is one of those games where they just went flat. As for the division, I think it's still too close to call so I'm not going to predict who will win it yet, but I do know that CP3 will not be able to keep bailing out the Clippers in the long run if they continue to have these kinds of close games.

Well its that same system that allowed Lin to "flourish" for two weeks too, so it can't be both ways. D'antoni wasnt the sole reason they lost all those games, the team as a whole just isn't good enough to win through that type of stretch, and its unfair to compare anything that happens going forward because they won't have to go through that same gauntlet again the rest of the season.

Amare has always been overrated to me, and Melo has NEVER been a great defender, well before going to NY. These are your cornerstones, and they're not complimentary. So what's left? Shumbert? An out of control Smith who's ALWAYS been out of control long before NY? A broken down Baron Davis? Jeremy Lin? This team just isn't constructed that well, why is that unacceptable to say? It's true! It's a bunch of guys who need the ball surrounded by more guys who need the ball.

In any case, Jalen Rose is still far better suited for TV than Shaq, and he's like Van Gundy and "keeps it real" when commentating. Shaq seriously needs speech therapy or something because I can never understand what the hell he is saying. I wish he came with subtitles.
