I feel bad for Baron, I really do but we all know he had no future with the Knicks past this year. They need a PG to back up Lin that's a little younger. I don't even want Nash. He costs money and will want to start. Find a guy that's been around for 6-7 yrs that's a quality backup.

The Spurs are more than formidable. Ridiculous depth, 3s, damn good play at the point, ball movement, selflessness, great coach. I'm still trying to figure out why some people thought this series with Utah was going to be close.

Just read B. Diddy is out for 12 months. ****ed up. I always liked him. Liked him more before he was a Knick, but still.

I think I'm gonna pull for the Thunder or Clippers to win the NBA Title this year.

If we can somehow get past the spurs in the next round and face the thunder in the west finals than yes were going to the finals

Baron should retire. No one's going to want anything to do with a guy that old, who wasn't that great before, coming off a patella, ACL, and MCL tear.

Its funny people thought z-bo would dominate Griffin

Well yeah, a healthy Zach might have, but that's no excuse. Ever since that collapse in Game 1, I haven't seen Memphis play with any poise or composure. I like Gay but launching those shots he had tonight isn't how they play, it was ill-advised, & he's not that type of player.

That being said I give the Clips props for handling business. Barring a monumental collapse, it'll be interesting in the next round, I'm still not sold on the Spurs.

"Want" to start?

He'd "expect" to start.

And rightly bloody so...

Anyone who would start Lin over Nash, and play Lin more than Nash, at this point in their respective careers is a god damn idiot.

Nash hasn't fallen off that much yet...

But he costs money - money that the Knicks don't have. They're better off taking the cash they do have and build a bench.

Exactly. When teams like Lakers who had to shed some of its salaries to try to get under the cap for the new CBA, it would make no sense if Knicks would try to increase theirs by taking on Nash's payroll. That's what they get from paying Melo, Amare, and Chandler so much money.

Would it? You don't know whether or not he'd be willing to take a pay cut for the chance at a title......his last chance.

Nick Young must have crept into Craig Sager's closet and stole a pair of his shoes. Don't think he took the dashiki from Sager though. Maybe he got that from Curtis Mayfield or something.

Yeah and the chains from the Mr. T Starter Collection and chest hair inspired by Grant Morrison's Batman.

Jesus.

This is why he's Swaggy P yo! LOL. I mean, considering the silk-backed denim shirt he had with him during Game 1 in the locker room, this is just the next step really.

Clips win in 6, don't think they can close out on the road with such an inexperienced playoff team.

Btw good to see another Clips fan, just started looking at the NBA thread here.

Clips beating SAS is a tall order considering this team's dominated us for the better part of a decade, but with CP3 out there... anything's possible. Tough to doubt a team that pulled off a 20+ point comeback win in the playoffs.

Anyone else here wondering if Marc is taking notes from his brother on how to disappear during the postseason? If so, he sure is outdoing his older brother in that regard!

Agreed! If you can get Nash, you get him. Let Lin learn under him, because their games are similiar to a degree. I'm willing to bet Nash would take a paycut to go to a contender where he could contend, and the Knicks are a player away.

You'd still have to go through Chicago or Miami. For all that he could go to Orlando. Get the money and play with Howard.

Howard probably won't be in Orlando for a full year. Dude is probably going to be traded.
