You guys are ridiculous (and in Docker's case, drunk :oldrazz:), if the NBA is so rigged why in the hell has San Antonio won so many times when they routinely have the worst ratings in the whole league? How'd Dallas win last year with an owner who's worked Stern's nerves over the last decade more than anybody else? Bad calls in the NBA are no more egregious than Pass Interference or Holding calls in the NFL. And let's not even talk about MLB umpires...

If Lakers lose game 7, they'd have to do a mini-overhaul to the team. Everyone except Kobe should be playing like their job is on the line on Saturday.

Think about it.

Stern rigged the lottery.
The Chris Paul Trade
The Kings-Lakers conference finals series
All those fouls in Heat-Knicks this year
All of the countless questionable calls and non calls over the past decade.

I'm not saying I believe it, but if it were to be exposed I wouldn't be surprised at all.

It was expose, a couple of years ago, by that Ref that was kick out the league. Another ref admitted, there's truth to much of what the first Ref said.

Well as I said before, regardless of what Bynum does, I doubt Buss will ever move his pet project. Gasol on the other hand, might be a different story entirely. This would be two postseasons in a row he's disappeared in, at some point, his value won't be the same if they don't make a decision.

Since it seems this bears repeating from last year...
It's funny. I didn't see any crying about the referees when it took Miami sometime in the middle of the second quarter to even get to the line, but low and behold, Dallas gets in the penalty and it's Chicken Little Syndrome all over again. Comparably, there was no bemoaning about the ticky tack technical that Mike Miller drew after Barea hit him with a flying body press, but sound the trumpet when Carlisle gets one. Give me a break.

That being said...

This was discussed and thought to be mentioned the last time this nonsense flared up (the OKC/MEM foolishness), but since it was met with general rebuke, quickly passed and hadn't risen again, there didn't seem to be a need. Those who choose to be card-carrying members of the Tin Foil Hat Brigade and want to whine and ***** about conspiracies, agendas, ghosts, goblins and comparable matters of malarkey will need to go elsewhere.

The last time I checked, there's a thread about the possibility of professional sports being rigged on the first page of this subforum. Find it. This thread, nor any other iteration, is not going to be infested with this crap because of people's hyperactive imaginations. Get hobbies.
I will toss your irrational keister(s) out of this thread and laugh while doing it. :BA

And how the hell did the referee hear what he said with the loud crowd and from that distance
He's not that far away, the Clippers crowd isn't very loud, and they probably weren't whispering to each other.

Dude I've been calling you out all last week when the knicks were getting trashed and you were no where in sight! Plus didn't you say the clippers wouldn't win more than one game? They won three! That's two more than the knicks! Still got faith in my team as long Paul and Griffin are healthy in Sunday

Just got online and look what I see!! LA calling out me, the great one. What have I done to deserve this? The Clippers lost, I had nothing to do with that.....

But Zach Randolph did. :oldrazz: Ah man! I can't wait til Memphis wins game 7. Then we can go fishing together LA! :applaud

Damn, the Clips blew it last night. I don't think either LA team is making it out of this weekend.

LeBron James Wins Third MVP Award
"Heat nation, we have a bigger goal," James said. "This is very overwhelming to me as an individual award. But this is not the award I want, ultimately. I want that championship. That's all that matters to me."
Impressive listing of the other 7 players to win it three times. He needs to join them with the team-related hardware. Good speech too. Some tight ass blue pants, but good speech.

Still trying to figure how Rose got a third place vote and how Joe Johnson got any kind of vote at all.

Probably some writer in Atlanta.

When it comes to MVP voting, it's only first and second that I care about. The rest of the list is insignificant as far as I'm concerned.

He had to say that after getting killed for mentioning how he would like to win the MVP award a few weeks ago. Congrats Bron, fully deserved IMO.

Not a bad birthday this year :) Finally ended my employment with a dead end job and moving on to bigger & better things, a fun day with friends, saw The Avengers again, a Game 7, and LeBron wins his 3rd MVP. Congrats to him and I'm pulling for him to get his ring this year

Probably some dude who gives his vote based on the impact of a player on a team, yes Lebron had an amazing season, but lets face it, without Lebron, they'd still be a top 3 team. As per Joe Johnson this season, while I wouldn't give him my vote, he was the Atlanta Hawks this year, after Horford went out, it became a one man team, without Johnson they'd be a lottery team this year.

Bynum & Gasol don't need any cookies for this performance, it's what happens when your 7 ft tall and play with some type of effort. Simple. Besides that the perimeter guys were taking and making the wide open shots, no rocket science there.

No they wouldn't. Bosh has always been a bit part player in Miami and Wade's influence has severely decreased with LeBron's arrival. They would definitely still be in the Playoffs but would be on the same level as the Clippers, Grizz, Pacers, etc.

Wasn't expecting the Lakers to kill from distance all night nor Gasol and Bynum to kill the boards. Good series.
