The league needs to bring back Charles Oakley just to have him distribute swirlies and purple-nurples to any idiot who wears the thick rimmed glasses and doesn't need them...

Proud of my team for going this far in the playoffs. We need a superstar on this team to go to the next level.

They had a decent run but I agree they def need a star player to go forward.

I'm not sure what to make of the Bos/Mia series. It depends a lot on Bosh. If here's there and healthy enough to make a difference, they could easily roll over Boston. But if he ain't there, Boston is gonna give them a tough time. This could go 7.

I like Boston in 7 because Garnett is cooking and Miami will have a problem stopping him. And if/when Rondo, Allen and Pierce start clicking they will also be a problem. Plus Boston has better role players then Miami. So I say Boston will win this series in 7 games. I expect almost every game to be close by like 5 points or fewer.

I hate the fact that I'm forced to root for Garnett in the ECF. But when the only alternative is rooting for the only player in the NBA that I hate more than him, the choice is simple.

If there's no Bosh in this series, Garnett is going to win any matchup Miami sends against him. The same for Boston with Rondo over Chalmers (although Chalmers has been playing very well).

Depending on how things pan out in games they might wind up having to throw Wade and his added length at Rondo and go with Chalmers on Ray Allen...

A Boston team at full strength might've been a challenge, but there's no reason Miami shouldn't roll this team within 5 games IMO, with or without Bosh.

No Bradley, both Allen & Pierce beat up, inconsistent bench, I mean, Boston has problems scoring against most teams anyway. If Wade, & more importantly Lebron, play with the same fire and effort they gave in Games 5 & 6 against Indy, this should be quick and painless...

They are not rolling over this team without Bosh. Miami went 6 games with the Pacers and I don't think the Pacers are as good as Boston. They're younger, sure, but I don't think they're better than the Celtics. They're even with them at best.

I do agree with Hound55 to the extent that switching and rotating the defense is going to be a key factor and that basically comes down to Doc vs. Spoelstra. I'd go with Doc Rivers winning that fight 9 times out of 10.

Whats with everybody saying Miami will steamroll over Boston. Sure Wade and James were on fire but Pacers clearly lost that series cause they went soft and did not do what they was suppose to do. Boston is a more expierenced team and will not play soft at all like Indiana did. Pierce and Allen may be banged up but they can get on fire real quick. You can make a poit about Boston if the big 4 all get on fire or even atleast 3 out of 4 of them get on fire Miami will have a real problem.

Peeps be watching too much ESPN, that's why.

The Heat haven't been really challenged too much at this point. The Knicks only gave played them hard in 1 game and the Pacers pretty much folded in the last 2 games of their series. They're not all that battle tested in the playoffs. The same can be said for the Spurs.

Folks aren't giving Boston enough credit. Garnett is playing out of his mind right now and Rondo is a dangerous threat. Pierce and Allen can explode at any moment in a game. The Heat are gonna definitely be challenged by whomever they face in the Finals provided they get there, it's def not a given.

Looks like they're finally calling Harden on jumping into other players to draw a foul.

Heat fans seem to think so.

I actually think Boston can pull it off in 6. I know people are looking at how they played Philly but I think they are just playing to the level of their comp. Plus people don't realize how badly they are going to miss Bosh. And ESPN.....my gawd man! They give Boston no chance whatsoever. It's hard to watch those guys sometimes. They keep looking back at last season when they beat Boston in 5 when Rondo played with one arm the entire series yet he still played well.

And Darth is right though. I don't think true Heat fans think this will be an easy series at all. It's just those bandwagon mofo's how don't have a clue.

It's not about Boston playing down to their competition, since this Big Three era, they've had times where they couldn't score for long stretches of a game. The difference was they were defensively good enough to stop the other team and keep it close. It's the same issue OKC has, and just like I said, yesterday they had one of their customary lulls when they couldn't hit those jumpshots, and the Spurs went on a 18-2 run and won the game. That series could very well be over in 5 just like this one.

I think alot of you guys aren't considering what Boston has to deal with. Avery Bradley is quite possibly the most irritating perimeter defender in the whole league, hell, they don't even like practicing with the guy. Combine that with Rondo's tenacity, and that's a backcourt that would've given Miami serious problems. Mario Chalmers isn't the best ball handler in the world to begin with, but with no Bradley, he's getting off the hook a bit.

Ray Allen, on his best days, would have trouble staying in front of D-Wade, with his ankles beat up it's almost impossible. Same thing with Paul Pierce trying to contend with Lebron. He can say he's "100%" all he wants, it's clear he's not. I'm telling you guys if Wade & Lebron bring that same level of intensity they just had, it's a wrap. Lebron is gonna have to dig up the ghosts of playoffs past for this to be a 6 or 7 game series.

Asa fan of the league I would want it go to for 7 games. I just want an entertaining series.

Oh I would want that too, for both series and the Finals. I just honestly don't see how it's going to happen. But that's why they play the games.

Well, atleast 90s hood drug dealer is out of style now in fashion :hehe:

Its so weird seeing all of these dudes wear thick black rimmed glasses that they have no use for whatsoever, almost everyone does it.

It's getting kind of tired:
